The US medical system is so terrible that we lead the world in medical tourism to the US despite the inherent higher costs of labor and capital.
Weird that that doesn't align with what H is saying.
Weird that if one is going to travel for care you choose a country with an abundant supply of care? I don’t think you know as much about economics as you think you do.

And why do you think we have an abundant supply of care?

You just blew up your own argument with one sentence. Then proved you're a dumb shit with the next sentence.

Its interesting to watch a rat try to slime out of a lie. HH defended BO care and socialized medicine to the nth degree. Now all of the sudden, when it is obvious that death panels do exist and it is revealing the true de-humanizing socialists leaders who have little to no compassion for the sick "little people", he is trying to slime his way out of it by saying he always claimed there were death panels and here is why they are important. Trust me, if that poor sick woman was a socialist party leader, there would have been a bed in a private room available.
They lie. Its what they do, who they are.
Funny. You gals campaigned against Obamacare citing the overwhelmingly popular Canadian system. All I said was that I wished someone was proposing the Canadian system. Memory failing you, old boy.
Umm........I have friends and family who come down here regularly for healthcare they can't get in Canada. One woman came down here for surgery she was waiting 6 months for in Canada and it ended up saving her life.
I think you have the wrong person if you think I ever supported Canadian healthcare. Not one Conservative I know has ever supported the Canadian system. Never.
I think it is you who is having some kind of senior moment.
My wife worked at Virginia Mason in Seattle and the place was crawling with Canucks
That was the story I told during the debate
H is insane if he thinks any "con" wanted Canadian care
Who the fuck ever said YOU gals wanted it?
It’s only popular among the people who already have it. (Like Obamacare in that respect). But Atl knows a guy and your wife has seen Canadians in Seattle. Cool story, bro.
H earlier in the thread

Cornoavirus?
You were citing Canadian as bad example, hated by everyone (except overwhelming numbers of Canadians). Understand now?
The dead 18 year old girl and her family disagree. Rationed healthcare is bullshit!

Nothing to do with the payer.
Which makes @HHusky's argument even stupider. Instead of discussing his gripes with the access problems of American healthcare, he's trying to invent this bullshit narrative about the quality of American health providers being on par with every other generic western country. Which is nonsense.

I guess my point is. That changing the payer from an insurance company to the government won't stifle innovation and won't change the supply of health Care. As long as it's profitable to provide health Care in America, people will still provide health Care.

I'm not quite sure what HH is arguing.
