Greatest Frontman in Rock History (no guitar players) Pole
Considerations...
1- Rock only
2- No guitar players (e.g., Cobain, John Fogerty, Metalica dude)
3- No primarily solo acts- e.g., David Bowie

Plant or Mick. I'd take either. Daltry is in there, but I think there's never been anyone like Plant or Jagger. Giants of their craft.
Daltrey was the most gifted athletically and was doing the curly blonde haired thing was before Plant.
But Mick was first by a long shot. He was the first rock guy to rip off the James Brown moves and be a showman. All rock frontmen are derived from Mick.

But, Mick.
And the “Metallica Dude” is James Hetfield you old burnout
The Metallica dude comment was for @Swaye
Axl Rose.
Wins pole rather easily:
I mean its a sweatpants shorts boner.
Honorable mentions not on the list:
Sebastian Bach - Skid Row
Vince Neil - The Crue
Dee Snider. ha ha I actually love Twisted Sister. There's a documentary about how they couldn't get a record deal despite selling out show after show in the tri-state area for like 7 years.
Oderus Urungus - GWAR (I don't remember him playing a guitar, just using an axe to re-kill Jerry Garcia)
Jim Morrison is my favorite but I get that a lot of people don't find the (warrior) poet angle very appealing; I happen to like his storytelling shtick, though.
The others on the pole list are amazing and most have at least one thing better than Jagger (voice, for example), but man, Mick Jagger has just been able to get relevant to so many different generations in so many ways despite his face...purely impressive.
