Jimmy waiting until after the bowl to make staff changes

...is a bad first sign.

It's an arms race and you're voluntarily putting yourself behind the 8 ball. Not great.

It's not thrilling to hear, but part of me thinks he's just trying to keep the recruiting class together for the time being and once they get past signing day he can figure it out. Not sure that's the order I'd choose.

please believe people will know they are fired and others will have been all but hired before the bowl game.

dude has had this job for 24hrs, i get that he doesn't want to announce firings at his intro press conference.

everything he said about taking aggressiveness and a passion for strategy to the other phases = offensive staff changes are coming.

He also talked #UncommonUnity at least three tims. Don't hold your breathe.

Bad move... now is the time more than ever to show that you were the correct choice. The only problem is that Pete is technically still at the helm until the Bowl game.

Jimmy literally can't fire anyone till after the bowl game since he's not the head coach until then. You really think Pete wants his last move as head coach to be firing guys he's known for twenty years? Calm down.

Plus, we need to current staff to stay in tact until after signing day to keep the current class in tact through signing day.

Reading between the lines, Jimmy's comments about being "aggressive" on offense and punting on the the coaching staff question indicates pretty heavily that he's going to be firing some coaches.

    Agreed.

    Also:

Intact is one word, so make sure when you type it out, you keep it intact.

Let’s win our bowl game first and then move on to the public executions

Pete's still the boss, there's just no way Lake can come in now and start making changes without looking completely disrespectful to Pete.

    He has to wait.

I'm not excited about this move but anyone who thought firings were coming today or this week was setting themselves up for disappointment.

Well, rash firings can be overrated.

Again, I point you all toward Manuel Francisco Diaz. An actually good D coordinator who brings a lot of flash and saucy personality, he fired every fucking body right away.

And, here we? are at 6-6 with another loss to Duke. Duke.

Maybe Jimmy wants to keep the staff classy, so in tact works. Did you ever think about that? Well, did you?

No wonder Mrs @DoogCourics is leaving you for @Doog_de_Jour . No imagination or outside the box creativity.

    SWIDT?
