Bad hire. Pelini has some good defenses and then couldn’t stop anyone. He was the best or one of the best against the spread at one time, but that ended towards the end at Nebraska. Kind of like how Chip Kelly was considered an offensive guru, Pelini was once a defensive guru that now sucks.
Fuck him for the @asu game to this day. Sideline infractions and blown coverages. And sark overpaid him so well.
The maddest I have ever been at a UW DC was during the Nebraska and Stanford games in 2011. They ran power at us all day, everyone knew it was coming, and they gained at least 5 every play. It was pathetic. Holt mostly sucks. He’s had mild success at times, but he’s a low ceiling coach that should not be a DC. It’s amazing these types of coaches continue to get hired.
you know Larry Scott has to be replaced immediately when a Pac12 head coach in a place like Boulder is looking to move to a school like Michigan State in East Lansing.
Larry Scott has turned the Pac12 into a development league for other conferences.
Top recruits leaving? Check Available on TV virtually nowhere? Check Completely invisible on ESPN sports talk shows? Check Head coaches taking "the same but obviously better" jobs at any other D1 school? Check

The “in a place like” takes are really coming in hot and heavy this year.
Who the fuck cares where the university is located. Can you win there? That is the only question.
If I was Tucker I would stay in Boulder. Both schools difficult to recruit to. Michigan State maybe a slight advantage with more talent in 100 or 200 mile radius of campus.
But way more difficult to get traction as fourth fiddle in B1G East despite MSU’s recent success.
