CA has some beautiful beaches but the water is not clear and its cold. It is also out of reach for 99% of the people who would like to even live near it. Only the 0.000002% can afford to live on it.
The white sandy beaches in the Eastern part of the Gulf are beautiful and the water is much more clear and warm. One can also find plenty of places to purchase a home on or across the street from the beach that are a fraction of the cost of Southern Cal beach communities.
However, the people are too nice and there is less air pollution, cleaner water, better fishing year round, better beach bars, much less traffic, much less garbage on the roads and highways, a cost of living that is probably 1/3rd of So Cal so you rats that live in So Cal would probably hate it here. Better you stay out there in your Million dollar 1400 sq ft, 40 year old track house and that 2 hour commute to work. -
