Leftists here are essentially saying that they know the current process is unfair but they don't care. The Rats in the House could makes this a transparent and open and balanced process but they don't have to and they're fine with that. A process that allows the Rats to veto the witnesses the Republicans can call and to sign off on the questions that can be asked is perfectly okay with them.
If you had any doubts, and I didn't, the Rats don't give a fuck about the truth or the facts. Trump was going to be impeached as soon as they took back the House and the facts never mattered.
