I was wondering the same thing when I saw it live. It's the worst Tommy Trojan, ever. Non-binary Trojan?
Wife and I discussed. I thought it was possibly a girl who's a possible relative of Sarah Silverman. Mrs. Nacho thought it was a really feminine looking guy.
I think it's abundance. It's actually a really feminine looking guy who's a relative of Sarah Silverman.
Otton fucked it up but if Fuller attacks the ball like he is supposed to he catches it 2 more feet inside and moving forward and probably scores a TD. Also he does a little pointless hop when completing the catch that a lot of shitty WRs do.
Millen had a lot to say about this play. Aside from not agreeing with the trickeration of it all, he mentioned that he's never seen a double reverse where the first guy goes under the QB rather than over. He said that it requires perfection in blocking because any pressure would cause it to get blown up. In all his years, he's never seen it, because it makes zero sense schematically and no one would design a play like that.
This is why I HATE the tunnel screen. Too many individual matchups have to be won for it to be successful, and the timing has to be perfect. Against a shit defense, sure, have fun. Against actual real athletes? It's a laugher. This time, the play is being run from the near hash, so angles and timing have to be even more precise. The corner was able to easily beat the block to the outside because he knew he had so much inside help close by. Otton released inside to seal the corner out, probably not expecting the corner to be that fast. Just a dumb fucking play all around.
Actually it's Kirkland who flat beats Marlon one-on-one. I thought he had help from a double at first, but Harris immediately engages the blitzing linebacker/safety (#1).
Re Jaxx, yeah, I corrected myself earlier. Great block.
Re OPI, pass was behind the LOS. Neither O & D may hold behind the line, but you can knock the guy down. That's how we* used to corch screen defense. It's tough to see on that clip, USC may have held though.

thing is, if Fuller's instincts would have to simply catch the ball while heading back into the actual tunnel instead of turning perpendicular into the corner it would have at least gained something positive....possibly more. This is where I am struggling with Fuller and what I believe are zero instincts for getting positive yards instead of dipsy doodling around. He's very Mickenseque in that respect and then you look at what Gaskin did to get positive yards out of every situation and it's just clear to me that Fuller is not a guy who should be used for any play call that expects YAC.

If this isn't OPI, there is no such thing as OPI. I was fucking pissed.
