If he gets the next five right, he’s up to 81%.Emoterman said:
This must be that new math way of expressing "batting 1.000" cuz those numbers don't comport with my reality. -

Huff's gonna get poached after the season, and going into next year our coaching staff will be even worse than it is this year. Calling it now.

He still has to prove he can coach.NorwegianHusky said:Huff's gonna get poached after the season, and going into next year our coaching staff will be even worse than it is this year. Calling it now.

Theres also the small issue of him getting blown the fuck out in recruiting this year by the 130 lb version of Chris StrausserDoogWhisperer said:

But does this weekend count as soon??insinceredawg said:Looking at Biggin's recent CB history of 8+ inchers, he typically put them in 1-4 days before the player announced. Expecting a woof this weekend.

Prentice would be the first no questions asked stud in this class since Huard.
Desperately needed for both in state cred this year and next (with all the lineman) as well as because all the other stud OL already committed to Oregon.
He’s a kid Huff/Lake couldn’t afford to lose.
This class may turn out decent yet but we? damn near have to go runner runner runner runner runner runner runner. -
Similar recruitment to Hatchett last year. Seemed like a UW lock for most of his recruitment, brief scare when he was flirting with out of state blue bloods, but in the end stayed home.

Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea offensive lineman Owen Prentice is staying home.
Prentice will play his college football less than five miles from his home, with the Top247 lineman announcing his commitment to Washington moments ago.
He had narrowed his list down to a final three last week, Washington, Stanford and LSU.
Prentice received his admission into Stanford late last month but that wasn’t enough to beat the hometown school, which had been in front for a while.
“I had been feeling drawn to it for a few weeks now but I finally decided last week,” said Prentice.
Prentice said the Husky coaching staff was a big factor in his decision.
“I would say the coaching staff played the biggest role for me,” said Prentice. “I told coach (Scott) Huff and coach (Jimmy) Lake at the same time and they were super excited.”
As for his family, Prentice said they were thrilled with his decision and his proximity to home.
“They were very happy for me and glad that I’m not going too far away,” said Prentice.
Prentice said that the close proximity really didn’t weigh heavily on his decision but said it certainly didn’t hurt.
“I don’t think distance was that big of a factor but it’s an added plus,” said Prentice.
Now Prentice said he’ll join the other in-state commits in recruiting players to Washington. “I’ll be talking to some of the other guys in Washington that are uncommitted,” said Prentice.
And he’s glad to be done with the process. “Im done and I do not plan on taking visits elsewhere,” said Prentice. “It’s a really big relief and I’m excited to move forward with this part of my life.”
A four-star in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, Prentice ranks as the No. 12 offensive guard by the composite but the No. 8 offensive guard by 247Sports.
Prentice is on track to be a rare four-year starter for the Fighting Irish, helping them win a state title as a freshman and starting on their last two teams that made it to the state championship game.
He has been selected to play in the 2021 Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii in January.
Owen Prentice Scouting Report: A smart, hardworking player who can play any spot on the offensive line. Projects as an interior linemen with his size and strength and ability to go up against defensive tackles. Has plus ability when pulling and getting in to the open field. Needs to continue to refine as a pass blocker since prep offense is mostly run-based but is a punishing run blocker and can play left guard at the next level. Great footwork and uses his hands well to engage his defender. Projects as multi-year Power 5 starter and projects as third day pick. -

I heard a rumor he is moving to Texas. True?
Great get. Much needed. -
Like I said, Huff hated Pete's schemes. Recruits really well. He deserves a season to fix the pass blocking issues.
