Antarctica has lost more ice in four years than the Arctic has in 34 years

It’s obvious to AOC that Trump broke all the ice-makers in Antarctica.

Gore had said way back when that the ice caps were going to melt by 2014. 2014 ended up being a record year for ice coverage in Antartica.

This looks like AOC's prediction might come true? From the paper...

Holy fuck you are lying your ass off. Show where Gore said they'd be melted. And it's bullshit that 2014 was a record rear for ice coverage. Use your brain.
    Here is what he said:

“Last September 21 (2007), as the Northern Hemisphere tilted away from the sun, scientists reported with unprecedented distress that the North Polar ice cap is “falling off a cliff.” One study estimated that it could be completely gone during summer in less than 22 years. Another new study, to be presented by U.S. Navy researchers later this week, warns it could happen in as little as 7 years.”

Antarctic ice looks to have been a record.

    Arctic ice decreased.

Do you understand what Sea ice is? Do you understand that the Antarctic is mostly land? What happens when land ice falls into the sea Mike?
    it becomes sea ice?
Exactly. And taking Sea ice data. And saying it relates to all of the Antarctic is fucktarded.
is it because sea ice versus land ice; or because they're on opposite sides of the planet?
Both of his links were clearly Sea ice in Antarctic. HTH

Clearly you didn’t read the links. Dumbass

“Since the late 1970s, the Arctic has lost an average of 20,800 square miles (53,900 square kilometers) of ice a year; the Antarctic has gained an average of 7,300 square miles (18,900 sq km). On Sept. 19 this year, for the first time ever since 1979, Antarctic sea ice extent exceeded 7.72 million square miles (20 million square kilometers), according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center. The ice extent stayed above this benchmark extent for several days. The average maximum extent between 1981 and 2010 was 7.23 million square miles (18.72 million square kilometers).”
Actually you are correct, I didn't read it. I can't where I'm at, internet barely allows me in this shit hole website. That being said. Read the words in bold Mike. Again... Using Antarctic Sea ice as a data point is fucktarded. You have to look at combined land and sea ice. Cause you know. The Antarctic is mostly land.

Please let me know when you actually understand what I've written 8 times now.
Then do yourself a favor and actually read the article next time before spouting off your bullshit. And as Damone said, the article actually explains why this is likely the result of climate change, but you wouldn't know that since you never bother reading anything or educating yourself on a topic.

So as counterintuitive as expanding winter Antarctic sea ice may appear on a warming planet, it may actually be a manifestation of recent warming. "Both the Arctic and the Antarctic are responding to climate change, and both have areas that are warming rapidly," explains NSIDC lead scientist Ted Scambos. "But Antarctic sea ice is responding to wind shifts and ocean changes in an unexpected way, and we're still trying to fully understand it."
That is still talking about Sea ice. Not total ice in Antarctica.

JFC. You’re continue to posy on this thread after what may have been one of your worst beatdowns in HH history? Might want to take the L and let this one fall off the front page.

Global warming is for faggots. Humanity overall will come up with some shit and anything meaningful needs to be done at a high level.

So you pussies who go vegan and quit using air conditioning can go right on depriving yourselves of shit while I keep on not giving a fuck

Glad to see that Hondo could jump in and elevate the level of discussion in a thread yet again.

You interlectuals are boring anyway. I'm just here to tell people to fuck off
Let's not understate the value of your worthy contribution. If someone isn't fucking off or being told to, it isn't a good thread.
