Day 6 is a whole different beast altogether.PostGameOrangeSlices said: -
How about if Pete just puts him in against Cal while our offense is struggling to get anything going?backthepack said:If Haener starts... I’m officially out on Pete...

I will say it again. Turner is the tallest 6'2.5 guy I have every seen. I still think whoever measured him can't read.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
How tall is Jimmy Lake? 5'10ish? So, 6'2.5"-6'3" is about right.KrunkJuice said:

Good Lord it is fucking SPRING BALL. Haener has been in the system longer and should be better at this point in time. Eason will start.

It varies. Sometimes he looked smaller then Budda and sometimes he dwarfs browning. Probably should see his chiropractor more frequently.animate said:

It's sounding like the DL is going to be "fine". Taki and Tuli are ready.
The DB depth is better than ever and they just need to sort out some positions. Gordon standing out is the least surprising thing to happen so far.
Linebackers are a question mark, especially with Manu still getting reps, but I have a feeling we won't be complaining much about them this year. Frosh lbs can step in and be good. The thin number ofgoodveterans isn't scaring me as much anymore in spite of what pumpy says.
The endless media fascination with Chico, Fuller, Pounds, and Baccellia is bothering me. They're all ok players but don't make the team M concerns at this point are all centered on the offensive skill position battles.
That's where I'm at too. Bitches.RaceBannon said:

Convincing myself that it’s just cause they don’t want him to leave before the season starts. Lots of rumors leading up to the start of spring camp that he was going to leave.backthepack said:The amount of Haener content coming out of the program right now is sickening...

Notes from Caple:
- Bynum, Ozzy, Bryant, Otton, and Kizer were the consistent WR. Spiker has some dropsies.
- Sacks by Ulofoshio (who gets consistent pressure), Tafisi, Clark, Bowman, Potato, and a combo by Calvert and Ngata. Lots of sacks the last few days.
- Haener looked good, Eason made great throws and missed opened guys (inconsistency isn’t a way into Pete’s heart), Sirmon looked good, and Yankoff struggled.
- McKinney and Bryant at Safety, Molden at Nickel, Taylor and Hampton at Corner.
- Morris threw a decapitater to Chico who somehow got the fuck down and let McKinney and Molden destroy each other. Neither seemed to be too hurt.
- Jackson Sirmon took some reps at fullback now that Warren sold his couch. Don’t worry, he still plays ILB and is actually good at it.
- DL and LB continue to rotate in pairs, and pairs have been consistent.
- Quotes about Cam Williams that we all saw earlier, which Caple reminds us he was saying about Nicks Harris during his freshman camp.
- Starting OL is the same, but Norgaard is still getting reps at C to give him experience and keep Harris healthy.
- 2nd team OL had a different look: Roberts, Ale, Mele, Curne, and Bain. This is the 3rd practice that Matteo was getting reps at Center.
- Fautanu left with a trainer and didn’t return.
- Petersen said the old Chico is back and he is looking really good in practice.
- Pete said Ozzy is someone he expects to take the next step and it’s starting to click.
- Henry made and missed from 28.
-
Interesting how Mele keeps moving between LT and C; OL is going to be the interesting topic come next spring.DoogCourics said:Notes from Caple:

Nobody wants to talk about that we still don't have a kicker who doesn't shit himself

How the fuck can someone who kicks for a living miss from 28?
You could pluck someone from the local special needs school, train them for a few hours and they could make from 28.

Timothy Horn comes in this summer, not all is lost.

Tuimoloau and Rogers joined Adams at practice yesterday.
-
we rely on new kickers like USC relies on true freshmen at the other 22 positions.Edwin_Bambino said:Timothy Horn comes in this summer, not all is lost.

K, let me modify my statement ... take any specials needs kids with a soccer background and they will be making 28 yarders no sweat.FremontTroll said:

All those fuckers in that video are "regular" people without an athletic background ... they couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time! -
As the eurotrash contingent of the bored I obviously played soccer growing up, and to be honest, 28 yards is at the far end of my range. I'm that unathletic.

Pete is going to give Haener the job. Skinny is going to transfer after spring Q.
This is from two different sources and then me putting together the info.
Only Pete is stupid enough to give Haener the job. -
