I bet he's fine. Allegedly a good technical coach, at least if you consider Beau Baldwin to be a reliable aource.

Was kicked of of Erickson's wild pack of beaves for felony assault. I'm encouraged!

Football players beat up or at least abuse civilian students at parties all the time. The programs are fortunate that the incidents are rarely reported.DawgWagonDan said:Was kicked of of Erickson's wild pack of beaves for felony assault. I'm encouraged!
Three well known Poly OL at UW in the early 90s wrecked a party at my place and one kicked my 140lb friend in the head. All this over control of the music. Two of the three would have been fucked had the police been called, but even the libtard crowd I hung out with were mostly football fans and about half season ticket holders. Nobody even mentioned the idea of making a thing out of it. Almost everyone there had seen the same type if shit happen before. -

Glad to hear that Petersen is willing to look outside of the OKG mold for a new coach.DawgWagonDan said:Was kicked of of Erickson's wild pack of beaves for felony assault. I'm encouraged!
I mean, I think it would take a hell of a lot to get yourself kicked off of a Dennis Erickson coached team.
Some cool things from the 'Times article:
From 2009-13, Adams was the wide receivers coach on Beau Baldwin’s staff at Eastern Washington.
Adams recruited Cooper Kupp to EWU, and Kupp went on to set an FCS record with 73 career touchdown receptions for the Eagles and was a 2017 third-round NFL draft pick by the Los Angeles Rams.
“(Adams is) just a technician with the position,” Baldwin told the Idaho Statesman in 2014. “He has an incredible day-to-day process of developing guys. I saw him take eight guys from where they were as freshmen to where they were as seniors. He does as good a job as any coach I’ve ever seen in that regard. It showed in the product on the field.”

UW/WSU didn't recruit Kupp, its not like he was going to play for CWU LOL...

Nice job missing the point that he evaluated the talent regardless of who else recruited him, and then coached him into becoming a very solid receiver. Eventually good enough for the NFL.YouKnowIt said:Baphomet said:

When he’s a proven recruiter and gets the most out of his players, it’s juicy.RoadDawg55 said:

This is why the frats hired rugby as security. No one had a schollie to lose or a fuck to give about a little fighting. Never hurts when 15 guys are used to telling the same story either. Our team sucked so bad in the late 2000's no one feared the football JAGS anyways. Had quite a few incidents with the football players that were pretty fun and entertaining. Never had to have the police involved. Watched my 140lb fullback talk shit and tell some football players to go "cry to Ty" if they didn't like getting kicked out of a party, "Maybe if you spent more time practicing and less time partying you could win a fucking game."chuck said:

Speaking of controlling the music... years ago my 1st ex-wife and I went with a group of folks from her job for a ski weekend in Bend (because many of them couldn't ski runs any harder than blue squares). Our group was big enough that we rented two vacation homes side by side, but we spent all of our group time in the house with a stereo system and big kitchen for group meals.
Some self-appointed person was playing Neil Diamond the entire fucking weekend. Finally, I'd had enough and I put in an Alice in Chains CD. Dirty looks ensued and one of my wife's coworkers pulled me aside and said that some of the people there found Alice in Chains offensive... I'm like WTF?!? Has anybody bothered to ask me if I find two straight days Neil Diamond offensive? On the drive home, my ex-wife told me that I had embarrassed her in front of her co-workers. I told her that it wasn't my fault that her coworkers had really shitty taste in music. -
Why the hell would you marry someone like that in the first place?Baphomet said:Speaking of controlling the music... years ago my 1st ex-wife and I went with a group of folks from her job for a ski weekend in Bend (because many of them couldn't ski runs any harder than blue squares). Aside from her work associates, she was cool. Her own taste in music was fine, but she didn't have the diplomacy skills to tell the Neil Diamond player that enough was enough.Houhusky said:
