Was kicked of of Erickson's wild pack of beaves for felony assault. I'm encouraged!
Football players beat up or at least abuse civilian students at parties all the time. The programs are fortunate that the incidents are rarely reported.
Three well known Poly OL at UW in the early 90s wrecked a party at my place and one kicked my 140lb friend in the head. All this over control of the music. Two of the three would have been fucked had the police been called, but even the libtard crowd I hung out with were mostly football fans and about half season ticket holders. Nobody even mentioned the idea of making a thing out of it. Almost everyone there had seen the same type if shit happen before.
Was your 140 lb friend a guy? If so he probably deserved to get kicked in the head.

Adams recruited Cooper Kupp to EWU,
UW/WSU didn't recruit Kupp, its not like he was going to play for CWU LOL...
Nice job missing the point that he evaluated the talent regardless of who else recruited him, and then coached him into becoming a very solid receiver. Eventually good enough for the NFL.
Nice Job missing the Point that Kupp was extremely talented/driven to play in the NFL after being slighted by UW/WSU...
He played at Montana State with one of the best football minds in the world. I'd say being in the same locker room for a hot minute with a savant like that probably rubbed off on JA. My main question is can he recruit Bucks/DE's from Garfield? Can he be an olive branch to Seattles football prodigy? Convince him that Pete has a soft spot for FS black guys? The questions with this hire are dizzying. Just like Huff, I guess we just LIPO

Shut your dumbfuck mouth so I can laugh while you suffocate.
I don’t love this hire because he strikes me as a good coach but mediocre recruiter and we’re at the place we should be able to have abundance. That said, the Joey Thomas endorsement is really intriguing. I know he’s probably just talking up his boy, but if he really does have the appeal to the urban African American kid, that’s a major leg up in recruiting at this specific position (and one we have obviously lacked).
Combine with the fact it really does appear he can coach, and I’m intrigued.

He’s never been able to recruit to a program at this level before, I’m LIPO on the recruiting, recruiting at Western Kentucky, Boise, and EWU is obviously a pretty different animal than recruiting at UW. Not that it helped Pease or Lubick any.

Bush did pretty well and he's not even black. There is plenty to sell here. Winning, early playing time(maybe he can teach these dudes Pete's shitty offense before they graduate), the success of Ross and Pettis in this shitty offense and a pipeline of strong armed QB's to get them the ball. I'm with others here in that I like this move until I hate it.

Here’s to him knowing what he’s talking about. 🍻
Black like me was required reading back in the day

I know, brilliant idea. Thank you. Thank you.
