Btw, free trade, free markets and free people are the essence of American conseratism. Your preferred China policy (tariffs, protectionism, nationalism) is straight out of the liberal playbook.

I’m all in favor of watching your self destruction. I only thought it was my responsibility to point out that you are an imbecile.

Let me take a guess as to why you would take such an elementary, naive position. You work for the government and therefore haven't a clue how the world actually works? School teacher? Post Office? Scuba diver for "water management"?

    You are truly clueless.

Close! My employer is a private employee-owned firm. I manage an office and am a shareholder. I negotiate the terms and conditions of the sale or private placement of bonds, notes and convertible debt to accredited investors and qualified institutional buyers. My clients are start-up and maturing LLCs.

Free, open, unregulated markets are not only my livelihood; they are the pillars of a successful civilization now under attack by gullible and deplorable troomps.

Have you contributed to the gofundme for trump’s wall yet?
So you help run the pump and dumps for the Chinese RTO’s?

How is the toxic financing biz these days? Running some 50% discount to the 30 day VWAP as the exercise price on the convertibles?

Or are you the other side that requires $50k fees upfront from your client companies for due diligence and promise introductions to high net worth individuals?

@CirrhosisDawg can't compete on a level field. He needs illegal labor and intellectual theft and selling out to the Chi Coms to scrape out a meager living

A US leading the effort to expand free trade and open markets through its competitive dominance makes everyone richer, even the poorly educated trump loves so much.
So I do agree with this principle. However, I think that China has made the transition to a fascist mixed economy state which with some of their "advantages"(population, tolerance for poverty and human rights abuses, etc.) has made them a real threat to the free world. Make no mistake, they are treating this as what's called "unrestricted warfare". They are engaging in a wholesale assault on our markets and democratic institutions the likes of which we haven't seen since the cold war. To trade with them is tantamount to trading with Imperialist Japan in the 1930's. It serves neither our interest or our allies interests to continue to allow them unfettered access to the largest consumer market in the world. I would much rather see supply chains routed through the Philippines, India, Malaysia, or other countries with (admittedly flawed) democracies.

The thinking of the neo-liberals of the 90's was that opening China to free trade would likewise open the country to democratic values. Instead, we have seen the CCP gain a vast amount of wealth and become a new force for authoritarianism in the world with the checkbook to bankroll their soft power. Fascism is a much scarier competitor to liberal democracies than communism specifically because of its use of the free market to finance its military industrial complex.

This is additionally why it was so dumb to rip up the TPP. It was a free trade agreement that WE WROTE THE RULES for and could have changed. If I could have a free trade agreement with every country in the world except the CCP sign me the fuck up. Yes, even Russia relative to the CCP.

TLDR Fuck the CCP this is the one instance I can understand the use of tariffs. Think of them as "economic sanctions" if you have to.

All the other rhetoric about free trade against NAFTA etc. I agree is FS and panders to a base of people who have lost jobs that are never coming back anyways.

Essentially trumped up audits for Chinese companies doing reverse mergers into US publicly traded shell/insolvent companies (there are tons of them). Chinese can go fuck themselves. Morally bankrupt business practices.

Agree. So why exacerbate the problem and punish US producers, consumers and taxpayers through self-defeating tariffs? How badly do troomps want to harm themselves because of China? Why does the US, the world’s greatest creator and innovator, insist that the path forward is to make itself weaker?
Liberal translation: Don't do to China what China has been doing to the U.S. for years. That might make somebody uncomfortable even though the result would result in a positive for many Americans. Let the Chinese continue to bang you in the ass without benefit of lube. If we're talking tariffs again I just want to know where's the accountability. Are all these business just hapless victims of IP theft? Why don't they DO SOMETHING to better protect their IP interests if it's so important.

Build better cyber security. Don't fucking outsource production to a country that will steal your trade secrets. Don't sell to a country that will reverse engineer your tech. Don't let the Chinese buy a majority stake in your company. Alot of IP theft is self inflicted.

I thought this was an LOL post; not a serious question. Never can tell on the internet.

My clients and prospects are almost exclusively California- based LLCs. I did close a deal in WA this year though. Got to hang out and drink by myself at the duchess at 3 pm in my free time again. Good times!

Watch the documentary The Chinese Hustle. Those fucks don’t play by any fair trade rules or acceptable business practices.

Essentially trumped up audits for Chinese companies doing reverse mergers into US publicly traded shell/insolvent companies (there are tons of them). Pump and dump schemes, viscious shorting of stocks, lots of capital extracted from the US market. All backed by ‘audit’ opinions from Big 4 affiliates in China. Total scam.

Lube might offend them. Can't upset them. They may get angry with the U.S.

Oh geez. Another self appointed message board member of Mensa. Take your self-awarded amazing intellect and shove it in you pos public school education. You're just a typical liberal that thinks they are intellectually superior to all. I deal with punks like you almost everyday and haven't been seriously challenged by one yet.

If you really are who you say you are and if you really believe the load of socialist bullshit you pedal here, your business associates would be best served by running like hell in the opposite direction.

It is highly probable that one component of your schtick likely exists only in your mind. In order to take you seriously, we have to guess which one. You have been telling yourself that what you wish to be true is truth for so long you probably don't know what is real and what is your imagination.

    Go Gators!

PS: Since you haven't seen it in so many years, your shriveled up little dick is real.

    Liberalism....find a cure.
    Other than here?

    Do tell.
The infected minds of liberals have poisoned most every aspect of our society.
In order to cure your particular affliction of this disease I suggest you drink a bottle of lysol. Should do the trick.

Bleach is the drink of choice around here.

    All very true.
So you agree that the government shouldn't be involved in eliminating IP theft and it should be left to free market. Chinteresting. Here I thought you were a Trump dicksucker supporting government intervention with tariffs.
