I think this is partially correct but you also need to take into account that that these millennial men have grown up in a society where they've been conditioned to tamp down their masculinity and where they are rewarded for giving the answers they gave in this survey. In fact if you look at participation rates in service organizations like the Lions and Rotary Clubs membership numbers are down. Millennials most likely talk a big game about giving back and promote their volunteer work in the social media but they aren't actually doing it at a greater rate then men from earlier generations. -
