Canadian men? Unless they're living further than 50 miles from the US border they don't count.DerekJohnson said: -
I’m surprised you’re surprised. Image obsessed selfie generation raised on participation trophies goes soft. Stunning revelation.

Is this the counter study to the WaPo Fragile Masculinity Trump supporter hypothesis?

“The research showed that younger men tend to value selflessness, social engagement and health over traditional ideals like physical strength and autonomy”
As I’ve said before, we millennials are better than you. Imagine being so fucked up you value physical strength over selflessness. Who’s obsessed with their superficial image?
“9 in 10 respondents said that men should help others, 88% agreed that men should be open to new ideas, new people and new experiences. 8 in 10 felt it imperative that men give back to their community”
Remember this is counter to you. This is a shift. Looks like all those participation trophies paid off. -
When did men ever believe that the shouldn't help others?

If this is a "shift" then there must have been a time when the number of men who said that they shouldn't help others was less than 9 out of 10. Unless you're saying the "shift" was that it used to be 10 out of 10.
