Shooting pool in a small tournament, eating greasy food, and the place was crowded with Cuog fans watching the Seahawks fuck up. I never watched the game until the end when Wilson got sacked and I jumped around screaming for all the Cuogs "that looked just like Jake Brownsocks". They all started laughing and pointing at the TVs chanting "Browning". Soon after Russell Browning threw a pick six that got them all chanting Browning again.

I know cool story...

and I won the pool tourny and $25. Not many showed up - it is hunting season in the Willapa Hills.

No shit. Born and raised there. My father had a shake mill across the street from that tavern (building no longer there) and it's attached to the post office where my grandfather was PostMaster for 24 years retiring in the early 80's. My family owned the building for 40 years until we sold it about 10 years ago.

How do those communities (Pe Ell and Willapa Valley) feel about merging the two schools football team into one and calling themselves the Titans?

They like it - both areas comingle with all they do - especially the Swiss activities in Frances (for those not familiar with the area Frances is smaller than Lebam). The football team is on its way to state - have won the league 2B title 3 years in a row. Unfortunately they always stumble when the have to play Adna
