How about the former Penn State defensive coordinator? He currently doesn't have a contract as he's been retired but he always ran good defenses.
Anyway UW would consider hiring this guy to be our head coach? I hear he is tan, rested and ready. -
Bob Stitt, the HC at the Colorado School of Mines. Very innovative.
I'd like to see him get a shot at a big time gig somewhere.

90-57 at a D3 school
ok dude -
He'd be a perfect Seattle hire. He has a thing for charity work, he's open minded about gender roles, he spends a lot of time in the shower and he could really teach the DM.c crew a thing or two about teen boy stocking.He_Needs_More_Time said:How about the former Penn State defensive coordinator? Win win win. -
The guy can coach. Washington is likely too big of a jump, but he might be worth the risk.Gladstone said:90-57 at a D3 school

EDIT: He might be better off as an OC first, like Chip Kelly was at Oregon after moving from NH.

Whoever it is just make sure he has the UW requirements like 0 HC experience, kick ass pressers, and something to bring us FREE PUB!
I can't even imagine husky football with all that abundance. -
I don't think this guy is a total fucktard form mentioning the Bellevue HS coach. Gus Malzhan and Art Briles were both successful HS coaches who climbed into the college ranks. And those are the kinds of candidates that UW should be looking at. I'm not really an adherent to the "get a proven hire" school of thought. Get a guy who knows how to win - at whatever level.

Hey, this Bob Stitt guy at Colorado School of Mines has potential...

Briles and Malzahn didn't go right from HS HC to college HC. Malzahn came in as OC and Briles started out as a RB coach. The failures like Todd Dodge at UNT and Gerry Faust were the ones who went straight to HC from high school.
Would Jim Leavitt fit in well with the powers that be?
