How about the former Penn State defensive coordinator? He currently doesn't have a contract as he's been retired but he always ran good defenses.
Anyway UW would consider hiring this guy to be our head coach? I hear he is tan, rested and ready.
He'd be a perfect Seattle hire. He has a thing for charity work, he's open minded about gender roles, he spends a lot of time in the shower and he could really teach the DM.c crew a thing or two about teen boy stocking.
I don't think this guy is a total fucktard form mentioning the Bellevue HS coach. Gus Malzhan and Art Briles were both successful HS coaches who climbed into the college ranks. And those are the kinds of candidates that UW should be looking at. I'm not really an adherent to the "get a proven hire" school of thought. Get a guy who knows how to win - at whatever level.

Briles and Malzahn didn't go right from HS HC to college HC. Malzahn came in as OC and Briles started out as a RB coach. The failures like Todd Dodge at UNT and Gerry Faust were the ones who went straight to HC from high school.
Would Jim Leavitt fit in well with the powers that be?
I think that the AD should be able to look outside the same 6 candidates you always seem to hear about. Nick Saban (to name one of those names) probably isn't going anywhere, and if he does it won't be to UW.

The Nick Saban thing is a joke from Tequilla saying he should be our first call. I agree with your other posts about thinking outside the box and getting a proven winner. The problem I would have with Butch (Bellevue Coach) would be the successful HS coaches like Malzahn and Briles were position coaches and coordinators first. The wing-T isn't working in college football either, so Butch would need to get a proven OC.
True agenda. Haha. That is funny. What has Mora done? What is the market price of a failed HC? 1.9 million? Why did he spend 3 years sitting around if he was such a hot coaching property?
Jim McElwain.. seriously.. you clowns are going to wax poetic about how elite we are and how high our expectations should be and then we're going to turn around and hire some MWC coaches.
I just chortled.
Where did Urban Meyer coach before Florida?
Doogs are just plain stupid. They have no concept of the game of football or winning or any of that stuff. Just plain stupid

I'd like to see him get a shot at a big time gig somewhere.

ok dude
Win win win.
EDIT: He might be better off as an OC first, like Chip Kelly was at Oregon after moving from NH.
I can't even imagine husky football with all that abundance.

Larry Scott inviting them to finish last in the south is not relevant to your ignorance.
You'd think UW hired a coach from the MAC or something
