    McCain was too much of an interventionalist for my liking. This is a fair critique. Still, he was about as tough of a SOB as there was when most men would have cracked. You can still respect a man's courage and character in spite of policy differences. People forget that George McGovern for instance was a real war hero.

    McCain was a loser who lost to Obama, backstabbed America by helping to preserve Obamacare, and was an establishment hack who didn't get on board with the voter's will in choosing Trump to lead the nation. That's what he'll be remembered for.
