Idk wtf is wrong with all ya. I don’t look up to furd, but they did win more games in the last 8 years than any other pac-12 school. Give them credit that they deserve, the did win those game. UW did go all flaccid at STDU and Furd last year.
WTF is wrong with you. Just because some shit school has a run doesn't mean they own the fucking pole position.
You guys are such fucking morons you don't realize that Florida and Tennessee RAN the fucking SEC from 93-05. You think Bama gave a fuck about that? They poached Saban from the Dolphins because they sucked and knew they had to get back on top. Bama also sucked in the 80s. HTH
It's not about who has been good in the past whatever years, it's about how your program thinks of itself and what the program is.
Stanford's program is 'we have been really good for 10 years and no one shows up to our games'.
Clearly the meds are not dialed-in today.
Where did I mention them owning anything? I just don’t understand what is the point in shitting on them when all they have done is win. UW is about to go in its run, but if we? don’t bring a natty it won’t mean shit anyways.
ALL THEY HAVE DONE IS WIN!?!?! ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID!?!?!
Stanford historically fucking sucks. Their '06 team was worse than our '08 team. Jesus fucking Christ.
You guys have let this shit get in so deep it hurts for you to even realize what we are.
I am talking about the last decade. I am still not sure wtf u r arguing about, but no where in my statement did I insinuate UW can’t be great program.
Before peterman got UW, UW perception has been a once a great program that was ruined by mediocre administration and terrible coaching.
WHO GIVES A FUCKING SHIT YOU FUCKING MORON???
WE ARE A GREAT PROGRAM FOR REAL. STANFORD IS A BUNCH OF CRAP. LOOK AT ALL TIME RECORDS.
Fuck man.
This is like saying 'oh, man, Bama should give Tennessee the respect they deserve'. FUCK TENNESSEE. AND FUCK STANFORD. STANFORD IS FUCKING OLE MISS.
I didn’t live through the glory days of the program. I lived through the shit years of ty, and sark. Peterman is the first time I am seeing a head coach that seems to know wtf he is doing, still don’t trust him until he get us a ring
I actually agree chances are CP finishes his UW career more accomplished than DJ, but he's got a ways to go to get there.
We must keep fighting!!!
That’s the thing, he can absolutely get there. But he’s gotta fucking get after it exactly like he did last year in recruiting (but better) for the next 3-4 years, and whatever in game shit is necessary.
There is so much going right, so so much, we are so damn close. We’ll get there and it’ll be amazing when we do.
I don't think he has to do better than last year. If we get 3-4 2018 recruiting classes, we natty, simple as that.
I agree, But what I’m more saying is if we had simply just gotten Jeremiah Martin that class would have been even better, we can totally do better than that class because we nearly did last year. And the classes coming up the next few years are really well suited for us.
If we can just get like one or two more pieces on top of a class like that last year we are golden.
I get it and I want an elite BUCK too. I think we can natty without one though. We don't need a perfect roster. Upgrading the QB position (which is an understatement) combined with upgrading the recruiting stars at WR and the DL should be enough. I'd be thrilled to upgrade BUCK too but I don't think it's necessary given how we'll we've done addressing every other weakness.
The 2020 and 2021 in state classes will be really chinteresting.

SO WAKE THE FUCK UP THEN YOU PIECE OF MONKEY SHIT. We aren't fucking kowtowing to Stanford.
Stop acting like a beta bitch.
When's the last time Stanford won a Natty? NEVER. Oregon? NEVER.
We won 2 under DJ and won another under Owens. Stanford's wet dream is to have our history.
Stanford is Buddy Teevens, Walt Harris and the occasional good run under Walsh, Denny Green or Harbaugh. They are a team that is rightly fucking 6-6 every year with some peaks and valleys.
We are rightly a team that's 10-3 every year with peaks and valleys.
I want you to realize that if we were playing in the P12N that from 1977-2001 I think we would've been in the P12 championship game every year but like 2.
We gutted our own fucking program man. Everything we did was internally inflicted.
I actually agree chances are CP finishes his UW career more accomplished than DJ, but he's got a ways to go to get there.

Why can't we get an elite BUCK again? Because I'm pretty sure they are allowed to come here. Right now we are in on Ma'ae, Latu and Ellison.
Just close one of those fuckers. It doesn't have to be Bama's class. But we need some edge guys for our D and the pressure should always be on to get them.

I think you're basically right. I think last year with two additional guys is a Natty class: Togiai and Martin.
The only worry is that we are systematically under-recruiting at particular positions and that creates a weird roster. I guess I would say - last year's class is good enough if we get Martin.
But also - the catch here is that, for instance, next year - if we do what we SHOULD do, then we will be naturally higher because of Smalls, Hatchett, Ringo and the rest of our in-state class. But that would be 3 5-star guys.
I'm not sure that we SHOULD get Smalls. Our history of getting 5 star in state talent sucks balls for as long as we have of tracking what actual 5 star in state talent is. On a national basis 5 stars aren't any more likely to stay in state than they are to leave home.
I agree we should get Hatchett and Ringo. Going three or three would be fucking insane.

I didn't say not to, I just said I don't think it's necessary. Get one. Hell, get more than one.

God - this is what I don't understand... WHY SHOULDN'T WE?!?!?
HE IS A FUCKING IN STATE KID WHO HAS US IN HIS TOP 3.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
Why lower the fucking Standards?!?! We got Mike Lustyk. We can get anyone man. What does it hurt to set the expectations high? I really don't see it.
Of course we should get 5-star in state guys. Those are the only 5 star guys we ever get. If we improve our hit rate from 0% to 60% that would make us formidable.

Getting an playoff appearance would help to get those guys
Salvon could've gone anywhere. Hatchett can go anywhere. Brock Huard could've gone anywhere. On and on.
Once we start acting like it's okay to lose Fozzy, Skinny and Smalls we are just saying 'sure, let's just be 2nd place in the P12N most of the time'.
More talent is better and there is no reason why Smalls should go anywhere else!!
Will he get better coaching? No. Will he get a better network to start his career if things don't go well for him during his career? No. Will another coach ever care about him as much as Pete? No. Will he ever have an opportunity to put his home town team over the top anywhere else? No.
He can go to FSU and just be one more random guy, sure. He can go to Clemson and be some guy they are like 'I guess he came from Washington DC!'... just another dude.
I don't get that. It makes a lot of fucking sense for him to go to UW. He will play for one of the best coaches in the country, have a great opportunity to play in the NFL and do something special with his career.
Couldn’t agree more DDY. The Alpha mentality is what’s missing. Especially in recruiting. This OKG theme is great and all, but why can’t it be about kicking other teams asses? Literally, come to UW so we can go and kick every team in the PAC-12’s ass, play in some playoff games, and win a National Championship. If that doesn’t interest you, then move along. Simple as that. There’s just no edge to the program in my opinion.
Way way too much of the word "natty" in this conversation. All the talk of Stanford but sounds to me like folks got fucking Oregon lingo in their head. If you cant post without using Duck dialect go fuck yourself.

Seems like the majority of poasters expect the Pac12 championship or better. I'm not sure who is expecting less.
