Someone then asks why Tennessee is just suddenly out of the picture and Mr. Mod comes back with this within the last hour:
Takes a lot of time out of the coaches‘ schedule to have three coaches, including Pruitt, fly all the way out to the West Coast, spend a few hours on an in-home visit and fly back across the country. If Tennessee has gotten enough of an indication that he’s definitely going somewhere else — or at least definitely not going to sign with the Vols — it makes sense for them not to waste precious time on the road traveling all the way out there.
Not sure exactly what it is that has caused the momentum to shift away from Tennessee. But there has been some talk about Washington lately looming as a darkhorse, and we always knew Alabama was one of the top contenders.
Also FWIW---he was supposed to visit Oregon this weekend and earlier tonight Biggins put in his "foggy" cristoball and someone there asked what's up with that and homer chodebaby Kevin Wade responded with:
"It's an Alabama-Tennessee-Washington battle. He is not visiting this weekend."
So the Tennessee insiders believe they are firmly out of it so yeah....he's going to Bama BUT!

And...this is why everybody thinks you’re a retard. A coach will push a kid saying he could come right in and start. However, if Kayvon isn’t ready he isn’t starting. Coaches put winning above all else. If somebody else gives them a better chance of winning, Kayvon will be on the sideline. This would be the same thing if he went to Hawaii.
