The sooner we get him to sign, the sooner Alabama can start recruiting him.Thebourbinator said:
Sooo hardball on one of the guys we need most? LIPO I guess..Domicillo said:
They’re gonna work on getting his OV in January, but made it clear that they can’t promise to hold a spot for him, especially since he’s already visited before.HuskyClaws said:Roof says that she has a quick update on him. Anyone with the cliff notes?

It's more about that we lead both of them for a while but neither of them committed so obviously they have something holding them back.FKA_Mousecop said:
I'm not sure about that. Maybe at the initial time of the offer, but Heimuli has been a strong UW lean most of this process, while with Irvin that wasn't necessarily the case.AtomicDawg said:Heimuli seems like this years irvin. We are probably not his dream school or the choice he thought he would make at some point, but have been the most attractive school throughout the process. Bama makes me nervous but nobody else is coming here in his place so hope we fend them off.
Irvin started getting the offers he wanted and came back full circle and his was really weird at the end so not apples to apples. -
So why, exactly, cant he play in his game and then fly to UW the next morning?
-
He could, but there's a dead period and he'd have to leave by 9pm that night. So he'd have to go up and back in the same day.bananasnblondes said:So why, exactly, cant he play in his game and then fly to UW the next morning?
His family wanted him to take MULTIPLE visits and that's why he hasn't committed yet.
This completely fucked us. If it were even at noon on Saturday we'd be okay. But this is a fucking worst case scenario. -
Where there is a will there is a way. People have figured out worse problems than this.
Come on, Pete. This is why you get paid the big bucks. -
He could make a mid week visit, but I just don't see that happening.Passion said:Where there is a will there is a way. People have figured out worse problems than this.

He’s not missing practice the week of a championship game.DoogCourics said:

I was just stating an answer to how it could be made to happen.AtomicDawg said:

I followed it up with that I didn't see it happening.
Thus, we agree. -
No wonder Cai kids burn out. They play from fucking July to Christmas. Does anyone realize how stupid that is that high school kids play a longer schedule than college kids?
