Is anyone surprised or shocked somebody came back from Vietnam followed by law school to some tiny town in Alabama in the 1970s to find the only single girls under 300 lbs were probably 1/3 of the graduating seniors that weren't already married?
As for the rest I have no clue...only thing I know is that this specific lady is crazy and her story has fallen apart. Putting her up as a reason against Moore only helps him. I can make a pretty good guess that whoever the WP reporter is that started this is a political nutjob too.
As for Moore...he's anything but the best and the brightest, but that can be said of his opponent and definitely can be said of his future coworkers, which include a fake Indian, a socialist that use to write about rape fantasies, and an actual pedophile that you keep ignoring in your campaign to cure the world of evils.
HondoFS...Pedophile apologist.
Komo4?
And yes you would still rather vote for a pedophile than a prosecutor that put pedophiles in jail.
Nice work. You seriously can't say "dude doesn't belong in Congress" can you? All because the R.
Or, perhaps there's still this concept of 'innocent until proven guilty' and 'due process'.
There's a very strong likelihood that something happened that involved Moore and a minor. But no charges, 40 years passing, etc. That's reasonable doubt in a courtroom.
Unproven allegations are as old in politics as @RaceBannon . If every accusation automatically caused a candidate to step aside, well...Slick Willy. This is not much different.
LIFPO is the correct answer here. If he's ultimately convicted of a criminal act, the Senate has the ability to censure him and either force him to resign or the Alabamans who cast their vote for Moore can recall him.
But Franken doesn't need to be convicted of a criminal act? The more you talk, the more of a Republican shill you look. And a pedophile apologist.
Not my fault Franken didn't LIFPO. I'd have given him the same courtesy with regard to due process. The Throbber only shills for Jew boobs (IKW).
Pedophile apologist. I look forward to your 50+ poasts calling for his head now.
And no, I don't think Moore, Doug Jones, Pocohantas, McCain, Menendez, and about 60 other current Senators (much less a ton more Reps) should be there...but I don't have a whole lot of say in the matter.

Basic point of parliamentary procedure here fellas: we're not in court and nobody is prosecuting anyone. Please, leave the pretend lawyering to me. This talk of burden of proof, due process, etc. is for actual court; it is inapposite to the court of public opinion.
Remember my fellow thespians, people who want a seat in the Senate usually have to talk us into giving it to them. There's no burden of proof on the public ... that's why politicians like to keep their dirty laundry in the laundry room. Moore's spilled out into the hall.
That interview with Hannity ALONE should have Matt Lauer'd his career. We all know why it didn't: he's running on a voting base comprised of people who are generally (1) stupid, (2) reactionary, (3) easily swayed, (4) socially backwards and (5) stupid. If you are on this bored trying to support this loon, you are (a) taking hondonumbers too seriously and (b) working way too hard. I know Moore promised you that he'd repeal Obama care and cut taxes and do a bunch of other super important shit, but here's the deal - there are a thousand other dipshits in the southeast to choose from who will do all of those things and not have to explain away the 12-year old girl issues. If they were underage, yes, absolutely. If there's a process to chuck him, chuck him, and absolutely do not vote for him if he seeks other public office. I don't care what he promises to vote for.
It's really not as hard as you think. Like I said, Clinton's extremely poor judgement with Lewinski, which wasn't even illegal, was enough for me.

throbber, I'm NOT saying that there should be any kind of governmental intervention keeping him from running. Let him run. It's too late to convict him now. All I'm saying is that the fact that he made it this far, much less that he'll likely win, is Exhibit A that the southeastern US, Alabama, Miss, Louisiana and Arkansas in particular, are chalk full of stupid, ugly, poor, fat, uneducated, Spam-eating dipshit people the country would be better off without. Thank God I wasn't born into that cesspool and live on the west coast. The people in Aberdeen are like the Manhattan elite in contrast to this uncouth Deliverance rabble.

One of those people is a pedo, the rest are not. Say what you want about the rest, but Moore is uniquely unqualified.
That being said, you are still defending the Moore. By pointing the finger. Dumbass.
me: "Who knows on the rest, but this particular lady is both nuts and lying...her entire story is pretty much fraudulent. The more she's paraded out as the evidence against Moore the more it helps him. "

This is not hard to understand.
The reason it's hard to understand is that, due to our ever-increasing focus on vocational education, we have fewer people as a % of total population who are independent and critical thinkers. It's just true. With fewer classically educated people, you have more of this argument style:
1. So, this that and the other.
2. Oh yeah, well about this other thing?
This is the tu quoque fallacy, and it's just about all most people today can muster.
That being said, you are still defending the Moore. By pointing the finger. Dumbass.

HondoFS.
I've been on team "point and laugh" regarding Roy Moore for a while, but I don't see where your character assassination has been demonstrated to be even likely true.
Crazy?
Well, I think she's from Southern Alabama.
[sure.gif]
Fraudulent?
This seems to be based on the fact that she wrote the date and the name of the restaurant under Moore's signature and inscription. That isn't near enough to impeach the witness in my book.
Is there any indication that the complaining witness (or anyone besides Roy Moore) wrote the signature, or the inscription above the signature?
-No.
Is there any indication that the complaining witness attempted to pass off the date and the name of the Olde Hickory House (or whatever) as being somehow Roy Moore's writing?
-No.
Now, obviously the yearbook does not in and of itself show that Moore and the "crazy" woman had anything other than a friendly relationship.
But we do know, from the local mall and the consistent accounts of like, eight other women, that it was certainly consistent with Moore's modus operandi to pursue and date teenagers while he was in his thirties. Hell, the man said so himself to Sean Hannity.
Also, handwriting analysis is more of an art than science, and Federal criminal courts tend to toss the question of whether a handwriting sample is Roy Moore's or Mickey Mouse's to the fact finder. So all these fucktards saying definitively that it is or isn't are full of shit.
It looks like Roy's. It's consistent with Roy's behavior at the time in question. Hell, using Roy's own account again, he met his future wife when she was like 15 and he was 29 and married her when she was 24 and he was 38.
I don't know about that, but the bottom line is that Moore is a fucking creep (also someone who calls himself a judge after having been thrown off the bench. Twice.)
and anyone who goes of their way to defend the guy looks like a fucking creep. (No offense intended to @creepycoug , either time).
As for Bob Menendez, looks like the allegations made about him were a paid hit job. Not that he's someone I would go out of my way to defend, but @HoustonHusky brought him up.
It also doesn't really help Moore regarding pedophile charges that he dresses like Woody from Toy Story.
That being said, you are still defending the Moore. By pointing the finger. Dumbass.

It's ok. Just proceed with caution.
We should just let or encourage hillbilly nation to secede from the union. We'd be better off w/o them. Although they are too fs to know it.
You like that kind of culture? Have the fuck at it. I'll stay with mine.
When the Feds say in court they have corroborating evidence Menendez was banging underage hookers it's a paid hit job...when a bunch of 40 year old accusations magically appear against a lifetime public figure after the primary it's troof.
I'm sure Moore was chasing 17-20 year old girls...and I'm sure as well that they were literally the only single girls around in some tiny Alabama town in the 1970s. Creepy...probably...but a huge difference from that and being a sexual predator/pedophile. No clue where he is on the scale, but parading out a nutty lady with Gloria Aldred who's story changes daily (including yes, she did pass off her writing as his when she first came out) and who a bunch of people involved at the time having called her out as lying hasn't helped anyone but Moore.
And funny you should bring up his being thrown off the bench...a much better argument against him. It's the same reason the 9th circuit blows...theses judges trying to stay Trump's policies blow, Sally Yates blows, etc. Just because someone doesn't like a policy if it's their job is to enforce it that's what they should be doing (I.e. if you hold that against him and you should then you should also think all these "resistance" nutjobs in govt should be fired).
And apparently this Jones character defended some nutjob once who was connected to the KKK? So using HondoFS logic anyone supporting him is a Nazi now. So Alabama voters either support pedophiles or Nazis depending on who they vote for...couldn't ask for a better option.

Now also allegedly, Moore started seeing Kayla while she was still legally married to her first husband.

We should just let or encourage hillbilly nation to secede from the union. We'd be better off w/o them. Although they are too fs to know it.
You like that kind of culture? Have the fuck at it. I'll stay with mine.
You're a fucking retard.
Roll Tide Roll...keep rolling.
HondoFS...
