I'm too lazy to link every single thread. Your Google is as good as mine. But, I'm just going to leave some of Puppy's Taggart musings here.
Pup didn't just blow Taggs' recruiting. He blew him on his coaching prowess, referring to him as a budding playoff corch. "No, we now have 1 proven Tyrone, 1 budding playoff coach in fagtag , the other a top 5 coach in any league. Pretty clear the pac12 now has the deepest coaching corps, and resulting deepest conference in America.. with Baldwin at OSU, there isnt a weak-link coach 1-12.
Someone try and dispute Pup on this. Baabs, and you know who else you are, dont bother . This is clearly a higher discussion topic."
Yes, he may have a lot of talent, but coaching matters (WIW). "Listen, taggert has a lot of fast talent coming back on defense. And everyone on offense. It'll be a tight race atop the North. Oregon is going to be good. Herbert is already the 2nd best qb in the north not named Faulk. Herbert is the best Oregon QB I've seen in a decade not named Mariota, and I think he's a better pure passer"
"RE: Oregon. Natty next year. Dont want to play them this year."
"Oregon and ucla could be in pac champ. Stanford-Duck victor will rep the north its looking like after week 1. 2 good football teams right there."
I'm sure there are a few more, but I needed more tim. I'll get back on task later. If anyone else wants to add to this, please feel free.
It was convenient of puppy to take a 2+ month HCH sabbatical and deprive us of high level football discussion, especially all things Taggs.
Anyway, pumper, you thought Oregon was going to be this juggernaut under Willie. Don't deny it. Own it. If you blew him, you blew him. That's fine. Admit it and move on. No need to come on here and revise history and play the what-if game with Helfrich. There's enough evidence there that Helfrich was in over his head as a head coach. Some guys just don't have it; Helfrich is one of them. If Oregon was going to keep Helfrich through 2018, they would have been FS. It was painfully obvious he was done in the early part of 2016. He would have been a perennial 7-win coach at best.
Herbert is going to single-handedly defeat Browning. Herbert remembers 2016... yeah, revenge factor really works well most of the time. Just ask the Colorado. Sound, fundamental football and discipline don't have anything to do with it. Talent and matchups have nothing to do with it.
Herbert got hurt... Who gives a fuck? If ONE missing player makes a football team go 7-5, then either he's Tom Brady or the rest of the team just plain sucks.
Your team goes as your qb goes Baze you fucking tard. Watching browning the last 2 years should make it obvious..unfortunately you cant see the obvious.
You are officially a rung below Tommy on the HH stupidity hierarchy .
See Clemson, FSU...you might learn what im tryingv to teach you new fish
Huh fudgepackee? Your football IQ is treading water. Baze already sunk himself
I nominate Bazes's "if one player (QB) makes your team go 7-5.." comment is the POTY (in this case a dubious distinction). Uh Baze, 1 player, a qb, caused FSU , A PRE-SEASON PLAYOFF TEAM, to stay home for the holidays you ignorant slut..good fucking grief
@pumpy If you have a truly great team having a dreck QB (in CFB) doesn't matter. See Bama, Clumpson this year to an extent, and Worshington (we won 10 games). Oregon with Herbet is 8-4, 9-3 tops.
Why are we talking about Browning. Lets talk about Clemson, Oregon and FSU. I want to learn more about your 1-player comment.
And yes, Browning was as responsible as TV for the ASU loss. The QB was the reason. Fortunately Jake didnt get hurt or we too would have finished 7-5. Yup 1 player, Browning, took UW to 10-2. 1 player was responsible given the rest of the team was AS IS.
However the rest of team wasnt as is. Trey Adams went down. 1 player, the QB,picked up slack. Now trade Adams injury for Browning...would this team have finished 10-2? Go ahead and answer dipshit

Yes, Jake sucks, butt he shouldn't have been given so much latitude by Smiff & Pete.
In any case, even with s shitty QB, UW still won 10 games. The quooks couldn't pull that off with their shitty QB.
Good OL, running game, & defense matter. Special teams also matters... like punting to Pettis, etc.
Anyway, fuck off.
