You can't expect Taggs to take over the year after a play off trip and have anything to work with

He took over the year after Oregon won four games.

Other than that, unbelievable poast. Really dialed in.
    Playoffs
    Helfrich fired
    Taggert takes over

So they lost all that talent in one year. Cool story. Helfrich got fired for under performing did he not? If it was a lack of talent why was he fired? He just need more time to get his guys in there.

Lambo went 7-4 in 1993, the same time frame after our title. And we knew he wasn't the guy

Hope this helps. If not just keep sucking off ASU and Stanford for doing what Oregon can't.

    Little bro
    Is this 2005?

    “Little bro”

That actually curled my back up. Embarrassing.

Listen, you thought Mora was the guy, I believe you called him “The next Pete Carroll”

I offered to pick him up at Sea-Tac and drive him to Husky Stadium.

Spare us the “We get it” shit.

Oregon went to the playoffs in Helfrich year two with an alien at QB. Then year three he won 4 games, the culture died and he was a pussy. This is year 4 since CK left and you’re all acting like this is his team. That’s 3 years of slingblade recruiting and a month of Bill Taggs.

In year 4 of Pete you couldn’t win the worst Pac 12 in 50 years (not even your division) with nobody in your way. I believe this is why they invented the term “couldn’t get laid in a whorehouse”

    Nice recruiting class though.

You guys a for sure back this time.

Good luck rest of the way.

Your deflection is noted. Just admitting I'm right would be easier

I said good luck rest of the way, not sure what’s so confusing about that.

    Again, you’re wrong.

    Playoffs.
    TCU shitfest
    4 wins
    William arrives

Tell me again how Willie was hired the year after the playoffs.

Also need an update, how are we doing on ASU is the best team in the south?

That’s the best part about this article I didn’t read.

Washington has won the Pac-12 one year in a row lost to ASU and was gangraped by Stanford.

Washington Husky football is not what Oregon is striving to become.

Just a few years ago 8-2 was a nightmare scenario for Oregon. Now it’s the pinnacle of the Pac-12 I guess?

    Oh, ok...

If losing by 8 is getting "gangraped" ,then what is 70-21?
Glad you’re satisfied with the Stanford performance in year 4 of White Bellotti. You guys were totally in that one.

The fuck is this White Bellotti crap? That's just dumb. Bellotti didn't win the Pac until year 7. Pete did it in year 3. Bellotti won the Pac once in 14 tries. You think it Peterman coaches at UW that long he's going to go 1 for 14?

So it took him three years? Sounds like Willie should have won it in his first year with this deep roster full of Chip Kelly’s playoff players.

Peterson recruits like White Bellotti. Seems like he’s app to lose what should be run of the mill games for a team gunning for a championship and ruin promising seasons. Don’t forget the Colorado game last year where 3 blocks from behind weren’t called. Phew... Just seeing some comparisons.

    He’s good, he’s not a great coach. He’s just isn’t.

EVERY coach (even good to great ones) loses run of the mill games. PC lost to Beaves and Stanford. Dabo Swinney lost to Syracuse this year and Pitt last year. In year 2 of Dabo's tenure tenure he lost to 2 unranked opponents. In year 3 he lost to 4 unranked opponents. In year 4 he lost to 2 unranked opponent. Shit fucking happens and college football coaches are stubborn headed fucks sometimes.

    UW:

    1991: 12-0 (James) *National title win/ W Rose*
    1992: 9-3 (James)
    1993: 7-4 (Lambright)
    1994: 7-4 (Lambright)
    1995: 7-4-1 (Lambright)
    1996: 9-3 (Lambright)
    1997: 8-4 (Lambright)
    1998: 6-6 (Lambright)
    -fired-
    1999: 7-5 (Neuheisel)
    2000: 11-1 (Neuehisel) *W Rose*

... (lots of losing and Sarking)

    2014: 8-6 (Peterman)
    2015: 7-6 (Peterman)
    2016: 12-2 (Peterman) *L Peach*
    2017: 8-2 and counting (Peterman)

    UO:

    2009: 10-3 (Kelly) *L Rose*
    2010: 12-1 (Kelly) *L BCS CG*
    2011: 12-2 (Kelly) *W Rose*
    2012: 12-1 (Kelly) *W Fiesta*
    2013: 11-2 (Helfrich)
    2014: 13-2 (Helfrich) *W Rose, L CFB CG*
    2015: 9-4 (Helfrich)
    2016: 4-8 (Helfrich)
    -fired-
    2017: 5-5 and counting (Taggart)

It took UW five years of meh football to realize that Lambo wasn't the guy. Helfrich fell off the wagon in year 4 and got shit-canned.

UO 2013 class on the roster: Tyree Robinson, Taylor Alie
UO 2014 class on the roster: Royce Freeman, Arrion Springs, Tony Brooks-James, Jimmie Swain, Tyrell Crosby, Jalen Jelks, Charles Nelson, Henry Mondeaux

So that's the last bunch of guys who had some taste of success beyond the amazing antics of Vernon Adams.

Even assuming the best possible outcome for the DWAGS this year (win out), Peterman have virtually identical W-L at the end of year 4, but Helfrich has a major bowel win.

So, I'm still on team LIFPO for Oregon, and UW just might have peaked?

So your saying Sweeney just needed more time?

Anyway, ‘tis not me trying to predict the future. peterson might pull a generational QB (next year) but he also might not. He hasn’t come in and changed the league like Carroll, Kelly or even Harbough did.

This all started with Canzano saying Oregon must match the great Washington huskies program.

Oh the one in third place right now?

    Oh, ok.

if we're going back to the topic of the thread (I generally avoid this as a matter of policy), I have to deploy ad hominem to point out that John Canzano is a stupid goat fucker from Fresno.
