Being able to stay calm, move around, and/or knowing where to go with the ball when getting blitzed is a huge part of playing QB.chuck said:
Just like with all QBs who have elite arm talent and are well rounded, the key will be his field sense. He looks like he has it. Keeping it with bigger, more threatening humans flying around will determine if he reaches his potential or is more like uncle Brock.RoadDawg55 said:
He looks very good and the fact he’s a good athlete helps too. Statue QB’s in college can cripple you.chuck said:
I have concerns:dnc said:
1. Note his poor footwork on the reverse flea flicker play. He caught the pitch with his shoulders turned backward and had to turn a 180 before he could throw. That shit may play on the sticks but not in Pete's system.
2. I want to see film of all the deep throws he missed. Dis he miss any? The ones in the highlights are all perfect leading me to believe it could be faked.
I'm being a fag and not funny. JFC he's good.
We seem to be one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen at picking apart getting blitzed. -
He has 21 minutes of perfect throws. My god.
-
I didn't see Smalls make a single sack in that video. #overrated
-
His footwork and the way he snaps his hips is elite-level shit for a 16/17-year-old.
-
Worst team ever at it. Confirmed, true fact.RoadDawg55 said:

There is a quarterback in college football who’s a lefty, who’s a great leader, who can make all the throws and who hardly ever makes a mistake. His name is Tua Tagovailoa. Well, Huard has all those same qualities except he might even be more accurate because the Burien (Wash.) Kennedy Catholic quarterback almost never misses.
If there is one question about Huard it’s that he needs to develop more physically but that will come with time. Everything else is outstanding as he put up 4,168 passing yards with 56 touchdowns and 11 picks in his junior season. He’s a quiet leader, cerebral and he has pinpoint accuracy. I like a whole lot about the Washington commit and Huard can easily enter the five-star discussion over the next recruiting cycle. -

Feeling like you got wooshed here a little bit buddy.DoogCourics said:
As stupid as some of the shit I’ve said I’d understand the confusion. I hope moving forward it can be determined that I’m not dumb enough to think someone with a 3 ft vert is a snapper of long. See, I can even do simple math. -
Is that Leon Neal's kid? Quietly one of my favorite Huskies.jhfstyle24 said:
Overlooked as the bridge between Kaufman and Dillon. -
Our LS recruit actually tested shockingly well at underwear Olympics, so it's not impossible he was putting in a 36 vert.dirtysouwfdawg said:

But still a whoosh cause I don't think (m)any Arizona long snappers are training at FSP. -

Sounds like a good match for throwing 20 TDs to Chin next year. Even Jude could turn that into a story.FireCohen said:

Did I really hear recruiting “experts” just say he’s not a mobile quarterback? My god... this kid is a pure athleteFireCohen said:

I really like he’s natural athleticism. He won’t ever run for a ton of yards, but he can move and definitely isn’t a statue.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

He's a great athlete. The reason he doesn't scramble much is he plays with such smarts and anticipation he seems to always get rid of the ball to the right spot on the field so he rarely has to.
If he turns out to be Browning I may never leave the basement. My recovery from that shit show isn't complete yet. I cant have it happen again. I just cant. -
Burien (Wash.) Kennedy Catholic 2021 quarterback Sam Huard will play in the 2021 All-American Bowl in San Antonio but as an early selection to the game, he got to take in the 2020 game over the weekend.
"Obviously I was pretty shocked when Coach Pete stepped down, but my family asked me if there was any other coach I’d want to play for and that was Coach (Jimmy) Lake," said Huard. "Besides Coach Pete, I had the best relationship with Coach Lake."
Huard also worked the phones with 2020 commits and 2021 targets of the Huskies to make sure they stayed on board.
"I called Jalen (McMillan) that day and I had no worries that it would play itself out," said Huard. "And I've been working on Jack Yary too so we'll see what happens with him."
Huard has also been a vocal recruiter of key 2021 targets.
"Obviously, J.T. (Tuimoloau) and Emeka (Egbuka) are at the top," said Huard. "Of course Junior (Alexander) and Jabez (Tinae) hopefully and Julian (Simon) and then out of state Troy Franklin. I'll obviously have more conversations with other guys but I'll do what I can to."
Huard said he was eager to see what Lake did at the offensive coordinator position.
"Coach Lake told me what he said in the press conference, his mentality on defense is to attack you and he wants to bring that mentality to the offense and on special teams," said Huard. "That was his main statement, to be more aggressive all-around."
