    So, about that Bijan kid...

He's good. We should try to get him to join our team.

IIRC Ballz predicted that Johnny Wilson would have a mediocre/bad combine and that we would back off of him in favor of more athletic guys.

Johnny Wilson proceeded to have an awesome combine, but Ballz is still going to charge ahead with that narrative. Sounds about right.

Sticking to my guns on this one. I think he sucks.

Ballz... respectfully... I don’t think you ever need to state “sticking to my guns.”

We are very clear on that aspect of your posts.

He runs a fucking 4.59 jesus christ

That doesn't matter. A. That's not fast. B. How many routes involve just running in a straight line down the field? 40 speed does not equate to quickness in and out of breaks. He's not a 5-star. Not even close. Just a big body with good hands and average speed who's not gonna create separation in college. Brayden Lenius/Ty Jones kinda guy. I'm the authority of talent evals on this board. It is what it is. We don't want him as much as you fan boys want him and therefore he's not coming here. Move on.
Lol Jesus Christ, even your offhanded comparisons make no sense. There are several tiers between Ty Jones and Lenius, and Wilson is a much better prospect than both of them.

Lol no he's not dude. You're crazy. He's going to Oregon and he'll suck for them. If he came here he would get eaten alive everyday in practice by our corners and end up transferring.

You don't honestly believe this? Come on Ballz, he would be at bare minimum a 2nd rounder for us.

One of these years we are gonna hit on a 5* or two. Hopefully it is this year with Bijan and Johnny Wilson.

Bijan is our best shot right now. I like our chances with him saying he wants to stay out West. My gut is telling me Wilson is a bit overrated and has fallen down UW's WR board. He gives me Brayden Lenius vibes. I don't think we want him that much anymore. We'll get Raccanelli and Odunze for sure and then after that's it's probably all in on McMillan and nobody else matters.
Agree that McMillan is the best receiver on our bored.

But Wilson is barely behind him. He’s elite and we want him, badly. Not in the same universe as Odunze or Lenius
Well I disagree. He doesn't have good straight line speed and is not a separation guy in and out of breaks. I don't care what he's rated. He's Brayden Lenius 2.0 until proven otherwise.
He ran 4.59 as a 6”6 17 year old. Fuck off.
His game speed is slower than that. I don't see the quickness in and out of breaks necessary to create separation at the college level. He will struggle with that and will mainly be a jump ball/back shoulder guy which is fine and has it's value but he's not a 5-star talent who can do it all. That's why he doesn't have a bunch of national schools all over him and schools like Oregon and UCLA are while UW and USC are not really pressing hard for him. Give me a 6'3 guy who's quicker in and out of breaks and can get that separation over a 6'6 guy who can't.

It doesn't matter. He's not coming here. Like I said, Raccanelli, Odunze, and McMillan are the guys and that would be a great WR class.
You don’t need to great at creating separation when you just can go over some-fucking-one by being 6”6.
It helps. For every Dwayne Jarrett, tall slow WR that still thrives, there are tons who don’t do much. I actually agree with Ballz. Wilson is overrated.
Big difference between Wilson being overrated (which he probably is just a bit) and UW not actually wanting Wilson over someone like Odunze
Definitely. Wilson should be good, but I don’t think Ballz is completely wrong either.
The formula for Ballz has always been 90% raving lunatic bullshit, 10% insight.
sometimes ballz is ballpark right/wrong lathered up in behavioral-anger.

following wilson through the 7vs7 stuff he looks like the real deal. there are some highlights of him receiving from sam huard that are like "awesome" ...

I said what I said. Y'all just gonna have to wait and see a couple years from now. We don't want him. Nobody elite wants him. He's going to Oregon because he sucks and he's Brayden Lenius 2.0.

Strong Arm, Wilson ran a faster 40 than Bru McCoy and Kyle Ford. He’s 4 inches taller than them with 5-10 more pounds as well.

@backthepack now you see how badly we have to show people what we’re working on.

But anyways, I hope Bijan had a great time with the Mele family. Hopefully he’s closer with Matteo than he is Lathan Ransom.

That's not what the film shows so it doesn't matter. Those guys are way better football players than he is. If Wilson puts any effort at all into the weight room he'll grow into a 240+ pound TE who's too soft to block. Brayden Lenius 2.0. We don't want him.

Never. I'm free to give my honest takes on recruits. I don't care what their rated or what the majority of you think of them. You don't like it? Go back to doogman.

You have made your point over and over ... plus that height for a HS Jr and a 40 time in the 4.5’s is a damn good time

And people like you keep responding with counter points over and over again saying the same stupid shit.

A 4.59 is a 4.6 in my book. 40 times are not what make receivers. Yes, speed is important for running go routes and post routes. But having that quickness off the line of scrimmage, in and out of breaks, and good feet to create separation is more important for all the other routes. You just see a big body who can run a decent 40 time. That doesn't mean shit. DK Metcalf didn't go until the late 2nd round and he's a way better athlete than Wilson. Why? Because teams questioned his route running ability. If you can't run crisp routes and get separation you're only useful in certain situations. We want guys who can do it all and be complete receivers. WE DO NOT WANT HIM. Get over it fanboy.

Dont fucking argue about the merits of one prospect in another prospect thread. Come on. I know it starts up from time to time but the non retarda know when to drop it.

As someone said...shut the fuck up.

I'm not sure which is worse, Ballz throwing out FS arguments about a completley different recruit in this thread or the idiots that continue to engage and enable it. Let the retard think he's right and stop derailing the thread.

Off season baby, where ballz going to ballz

I really really want this kid. Him and Adams would be amazing... let’s be real though. One of them would be amazing. Looking at depth behind Salvon, (who I’m not as sold on as the TSIO poddies) we don’t have anyone that gives me a chubbie I have to rub out immediately.

Can the bonner pop this one in our direction?

Angulo on Bijan’s new Top 6 and trying to find whether UDUB or LSU gets the last visit.

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Bijan Robinson has narrowed things down considerably in recent weeks and is close to kicking off an important round of official visits.

The 247Sports Composite five-star running back has trips scheduled with Ohio State and Texas next month, and also plans to officially visit UCLA and USC after that, with a fifth stop yet to be determined.

"I have really cut things down and just making sure I inform coaches who I am not considering anymore," Robinson told 247Sports. "It's really hard to figure out everything. I'm getting messages all the time and obviously the coaches all want their time to make their pitch, so I want to be respectful and make sure no one is wasting their time. It takes a lot from me when I have stuff to do trying to keep up with everything, so right now I'm only focusing on a few schools.

"USC, UCLA, Ohio State, Texas, LSU and Washington -- those are the main schools right now I would say. I went out to Washington most recently about two weeks ago and I really like them. The fans and the area were great, the vibe in the city is something I really enjoy and coach KB (Keith Bhonapha) is a great coach and we have been talking since my freshman year. Right now they are pushing for an official so we'll see."

The 6-foot, 200-pound back is scheduled to visit Ohio State on Jun. 14 and then Texas on Jun. 21.

Doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies to land if we’re struggling to get in the Top 5 and an official
