What do you guys think about all the OL offers in the past few days? I'm guessing it has to do with Huff getting done with his evals. I don't think it is necessarily tied to us missing out on everyone else.

Yeah I don't think it's because we're missing on anyone new (outside of Sewell, etc.), especially given the fact that his evaluations started a bit later for some of these guys who might not have even been looked at when he was still at Boise State for all we know. You have to think we end up with our 3 OL from guys we've offered at this point.
So our last three offers the past day are Craig, Curne, and Mello... Not a fan of Mello, the other two I actually like. I really hope we offer Marco Brewer soon or after camp.

Mello seems super boom or bust. Looks like he moves great for his size, but doesn't seem to have the functional strength someone pushing 300 pounds should have, nor does he finish all too well.
Damn we're going in on OL offers right now. Going to be interesting to see who we end up with.
Ale seems like the only sure thing, but it seems like were in play for Mello, Mele, Jones, Murray, etc. I don't know that any of them are immediate impact guys but with Socha they all have potential to be really good.

I think Ale will make for a good DT by his 3rd year. Make him push trucks in the parking lot for the first year of practice, until he looks like Conan. Vakahali will see playing time very soon.

First Baptist is over 150 years old. They have a school, but only up through 8th grade.
Second Baptist is about 90 years old. It is the largest Baptist church in the country. They have a private HS, which takes athletics somewhat seriously, though they lag behind the damned Papists in that respect, much to their dismay.

All the other OL prospects look boring on film.
I just watched Curne's hudl, my god that kid is a player. Please let him camp with us in Texas. He's fucking athletic and powerful. Sign me up.
Rare human. Just beasts people. Please god, kid, come to UW.
