I'd take Bird. He'd destroy people in the 3 point era.

Plus he is the whitest motherfucker ever to play the game. And that would piss off the BLM folks to no end.

Bird played one NBA season without a 3 point line
And all of them with hard foul defense and various degrees of handchecking.

LeBron and Kobe are/were both better basketball players than MJ.

MJ was the Beatles of basketball. It doesn't matter how good anyone else is, they aren't MJ.

Robert Horry has seven rings with three different teams. That makes him the best player ever by the MJ defenders who only throw out ring numbers standard.

I drank the Lebron haterade until he won it all last year. He doesn't have MJ's legacy yet, but it certainly is within striking distance now. If he would have lost last year to the Warriors then that dream of being as legendary as MJ would have been out the window. He put the team on his back though and proved to be the alpha.

As a player Lebron is leagues better than MJ ever was in terms of skill/size/athleticism, however, you could argue that a few others since MJ have been as well. It's hard to compare completely different era's as the game and players are always evolving. The NBA now is a pussified offensive stats padding league compared to the MJ era.

It's dumb to just compare MJs total rings to Lebrons at this point just as it is dumb to compare Lebron's modern day inflated NBA stats (he is going to shatter everything Jordan did). You have to look at it from a much broader view. At this point Lebron is #2 but I think he will end up #1 because of how he has evolved his game from an athletic freak to a well rounded floor general, he still has quite a few elite years left.

    It's hard.

Came to post pretty much the same thing. After what he did in the finals last year how can anyone say otherwise? He is unquestionably in striking distance. Some people for whatever reason (being an AAU crybaby, running away to the Heat, etc) decided to hate him and wrote him off permanently. And LOLOLOL @ using the generation argument against him. LeBron in the 90s would beast the shit out of people.
Of course he would still beast people in the 90s. If Jordan played today his career stats (which people use in the Lebron v Jordan argument) would be inflated offensively as well. That is all I'm saying.

Robert Horry wasn't the best player on those teams, fucktard.

LeBron is better than MJ, and isn't as close as people make it seem. He does everything that can be done on a court. He plays with scrubs and takes them to championships year after year. He's the best all around player ever. He would beat MJ 7 out of 10 in one on one. He plays in the most athletic/diverse iteration of the NBA ever seen to date, and absolutely dominates.

It's just too bad that so many people dislike dominance today. We are luckier than we will ever know for being able to watch him throughout his career.

I'm a life long Blazers fan.

Can't wait till he gets ahold of GS again. Hope Kyrie or k love show their face for a game or two.

Lebron couldn't handle Jordan rules or the bad boys, let alone no call celtics. Gtfo millennial
LeBron wouldn't get bullied by the likes of Lambier, Salley or Rodman.

He'd push their old shit in.

An abominable sacrilege to suggest Lebron might be better than MJ. No one will ever be better than MJ. Cuck.

This guy has never played better. He really might overtake MJ. His game has aged so well.

Nega, please. Anthony Mason, Ricky Mahorn, Oakley, Buck Williams...all would knock the shit out of Lebron.

He would adapt - but he wouldn't run unencumbered like today.

5'9" Oakland streetballer Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell

Grew up with Jason Kidd and Gary Peyton, both of whom said Hook was better than them

Basically raised on street, started getting high at 9, only class he took in high school was gym, ended up in prison

Fuck MJ and LeBron, their charmed existence, and their "don't touch me" fag dunks

Saying no one will ever be better is FS. Someone will.

    It just won't be LeBron.

I just don't see anyone surpassing him. He owned every aspect of the game and was right on the money every time it counted in critical games. They would have to be a hoops god to get any better than MJ.

The rules change cuts both ways. LeBron can hit back.

Or are you trying to make the classic doog altitude case?
