Savell did another interview and when talking about UW he cited that UW is the best in the country at developing 2&3 stars into NFL picks, I could cry.
Pretty sure I already CB’d him to UW but if not, consider this my CB.
For the record, I'm willing to execute a CB tracking system but it's up to you guys to figure out the design of it. Maybe a google survey with a timestamp...
What if on the targets announcement thread we had a crystal ball submission form with recruit name, username, and school selection with a drop down menu for schools?
can there be a selection option called Things Change?
I think I'm going to just set it up to record all responses. I'll be able to record CB's and changes at any time. As to how we would score things I'll leave that up to the hive mind to figure out.
No changes. Don't CB until your confident. 0.1 of a point for everyday before the public committment for a successful CB. Minus 20 for an incorrect CB. Half credit if the player signs with the team you CB'd them to but transfer portals out before their freshman season.

I actually think you should get double credit for those ones.

I think it will be drama until close to signing day, but I think we get him too. I would love for him to springboard our class with a commitment this Summer, but I don’t see a prospect like him doing that.

The only thing I'm struggling with is how to validate that the responses are actually from who they claim they are. I'm leaning towards an email submission at this point.
Google Forms can record email, so I don't think that's a big issue

I think he commits late this summer and spends the rest of the time recruiting a la Kalepo.

Agree.
I could see him committing shortly after his season is done but nothing earlier than that.
People are doogin hard. Gonna look like Jonestown up in here after he commits to Bammer.
It’s understandable. The last few months he’s gone out of his way in interviews to mention the coaching prowess of Pete and staff. How Malloe has been with him since 8th grade and UW was the first to offer and that meant something to him.
He’s also mentioned multiple times that he would be a legend if he stays home. He’s talked about how he wants to study business and that if he stayed home the connections in Seattle would have him set up for anything he wanted. He literally said “I could have whatever I want after my football career. I’d be the biggest hometown legend there ever was.” He’s repeatedly called Seattle his city.
Those are the types of things he’s hearing from people and he’s starting to say them in interviews with football guys across the country. That means he at least somewhat sees truth to the words.
He’s also discussed repeatedly about how his mom wants him close to home. Only 3 of his 12 schools are West Coast. WSU was a favor because he’s a Washington kid. He has said everyone would hate him if he went to Oregon. That leaves UW where, as he’s said over and over, he’d be a legend in his home town.
I’ve said before and the more evidence that gets revealed just further emboldens my call that he commits during Spring Ball
I can't see how wanting to help recruit outweighs what would surely be 5 officials of unsurpassed debauchery
So is the question would he rather have 5 debauchery filled vacations or early recruiting time to help close other high end guys wanting to win nattys... he’s a teenage guy so my gut is telling me debauchery.

God help this board if he does. The angst of holding on to his committment for 9 months will be ten times worse than the worry of will he committ here.
I hate that I feel this way but... where else is he gonna go?
He’s going to UW unless we fuck it up. It’s so fucking obvious that these kids have hometown pride and want to show out for the hometown. Unless we fuck it up to the point Smalls genuinely feels he can’t win a title at UW, he’s coming.

There are a lot of reasons to Doog.
I have that feeling so strongly that if he doesnt end up at UW it will feel like the biggest gut punch in the history of guy punches.
