If he stays healthy he’s going to be really good this year

Finally healthy, Ngata was one of the spring game's stars. The junior had 83 yards on six catches and showcased his ability to high-point the football on a deep pass from Uiagalelei in the third quarter.

    high value portal incoming?
He didn't even jump for it. How can that be high pointing? The corner misplayed it.
Worse 5 star “highlight” I've seen. Seen better highlights from Ty Jones....
    He gone

He was outrun to the spot by the defender, interfered badly, and caught the ball before it hit him in the face mask. I'm nonplussed.
Ngata is big and fast, but he’s stiff and lacks the fluidity to be a great WR. He has ability, but he was without question, overhyped by the old TBS ringleaders here.

I still think he will transfer. There are a couple guys ahead of him and programs like Clemson always are bringing in big time guys.

It would be nice to have Troy and Joe considering we only have 6 scholarship WRs!

Doesn't make a difference. Bust is a bust for any reason.

If we're accessing evaluations than it absolutely matters. None of us have the ability to predict who will be healthy or who won't (with occasional exceptions for kids who have a bad health track record or something alarming about their body type, which isn't the case here with Ngata). There's a big difference between "this dude just couldn't play" and "this dude couldn't stay healthy".

    6 foot 5 220 runs a 4.5 40

Welcome to about 10 prospects a year. They will always be 4 or 5 stars and get the best offers. Some will bust for various reasons including health

You might as well wait and see if he's a bust then, if that's the case. So far injuries have been an issue, but he has plenty of time to get past that.

Some guys can play through injures and some can't. That's part of the evaluation of each player.

Okay cool, which players in UW's 2021 class are going to have trouble with injuries?

He will have some level of success somewhere. I don’t think he gets the chance at Clemson.

Bust seems to run in the Ngata family, though.

    This is just idiocy

There will always be busts ... that’s a fact

What matters is that you bring in a bunch of dudes each class that look the part and allow them to develop. Some do ... some don't.

It’s NEVER about the name ... it’s just about getting players that produce at the desired level when their number is called

    Understanding TBS is hard...

    For retards.

True, but when you tout someone as the best WR in the country and think the rankings are stupid because he’s only a four star, you deserve some ridicule. When you also think Jones, Spiker, and Osborne are great, well...
