He's like Marlon with a bigger base. He's unreal.RealRhino said:Back to sports. Just watched a little of this guy's tape. I *really* like him. I was surprised at his quickness. I expected kind of a 2-gapping run stuffer who wouldn't get moved but also wouldn't really get upfield, but that's not what I saw. Seemed to shed blocks pretty well by using his hands. You know, I'm not one to tell Coach Pete what to do, but I think we should try to sign him.

One of the Oregon guys just CB'd him to Washington. It literally tells us nothing, but interesting regardless.

He probably read this bored and figured it was as good/better as what his own prediction would be.FKA_Mousecop said:One of the Oregon guys just CB'd him to Washington. It literally tells us nothing, but interesting regardless.

It's not over until Cody O'Connell falls on his fat face at a skills competition. So I guess it's over.

Okay, the straight dope: Past 5 years, USC and UW have each had one 1st-round DT and one late-round DT (UW in the 6th, USC in the 7th). So basically equal in terms of having DTs drafted.dhdawg said:It's ektard so... yeah.
That's one stupid couple of parents if they actually would prefer their son play for usc than uw
Which team do you think recruited better in those years? USC's 1st-rounder, Leonard Williams, was a top-50 prospect. UW's 1st-rounder, Danny Shelton, was a 3-star prospect.
What about all possible top DTs they could have put in the NFL in that timeframe? In the USC recruiting classes that would have been drafted in the past five years, they've had FIVE DT recruits rated higher than Tuli, AND the #2 JC DT recruit in the country, and NONE of them were even DRAFTED. These classes included the #25 overall, the #9 overall, and the #69 overall players, and they weren't even DRAFTED.
Meanwhile, Vita Vea was a 3-star DT and he's going in the 1st round. Greg Gaines was ranked the #711 player in the country and he's going to get drafted next year.
Why would any parent want their kid to go to USC with that kind of development record?

UCLA and USC are the best places to go if you want to add your name to the list of flamed out blue chips who are now selling insurance in the San Fernando Valley. USC's NFL pedigree since Pete left is actually pretty abysmal when you take it as a ratio of highly touted players who DIDN'T amount to shit. Then there's UCLA, which has invented it's own category of disappointment.RealRhino said:
