If he is successful and leaves who cares? The program is in a better place to hire someone with more money. The great thing about sark is he was not successful, and the biggest threat in the conference thought he was and took him off our hands.

Sounds like he was offered the job at Seton Hall and USC previously. Turned them down. An LA guy originally. "Everyone is saying" he's a great recruiter and great developer of talent. But an assistant in one place for 21 years?

Hopkins has been the "coach" at Syracuse for a while now. He ran recruiting and game planning. Boeheim was the CEO/ figurehead. I like this hire unless he goes right back to Syracuse in 2 years.
