It's all over, so what do you give as the final grade for this class?

BCan't get anywhere near the A territory
unless you land difference makers on both lines.
Average on OL and weakish on DL. -
BOh and I gave it a B.

BGaye is gonna be a monster imo
-
B+Gaye is going to rape opposing OL/QB in 3 years!!!

BIt is hard to grade them as a fan this staff is so good at development it is hard to give anything less than a B they could sign a bunch of nobodies then we throw a fit... but they go and win a conference title with those dudes and we are messing our sweatpants

BTui fucked the curve

B-Love the kids we got. Slow to no close with two defectors and the class lands around 20 after ending the season. #4.

B+Marlon Tui would have made it an A. A better QB, without Tui, would've made it an A-.

BB. After making the CFP, we whiffed on elite DLs, elite OLs (in a year when there are a few on the west coast), and elite QBs.
Still got some good players though. Hunger Bryant and Salvon Ahmed are amazing, and both Bush Hamden and Jimmy Lake killed it. -
A-My basic view is we "over-achieved" at every position except OL, DL, and QB. I mean, outstanding is the expectation but if we ever achieved the national championship caliber athletes at every position goal that is really an A+ in my mind. OL is close to desirable obviously Sarrell leaving the state was a disappointment but doesn't effect the quality of the group we did sign. DL is a knock down, not because of losing the Nansen Boy but because Gaye alone is not enough. We needed one more. QB is also a big shortcoming, so each of those is a knock down. It was basically either a B+ or an A- in my eyes but just really the great quality across the board really made me lean A-. If we used the University of Wisconsin rating system of A, AB, B, BC, etc then AB is the clear choice and it looks like 71% of respondents thus far agree.
