If Davis announces that he is just visiting UW then I really like our chances with him. He's already been here and if he's solid to tOSU then why would he visit UW again.NeGgaPlEaSe said:And Davis is visiting
If he announces that he's going to take a pre-signing day west coast visit tour of UW, USC, UCLA, and Stanford, it's pretty close to no chance -
Maybe they can hint at tOSU bowl game score ... or hopefully the O-line coach leaves for another job ...bananasnblondes said:

Didn't sound like UW was really in it for him in my opinion.JECAR said:Saw today that Austin Jackson's final 3 is ASU, USC, and UW.

I'm hearing there are rumors that Foster has told his inner circle he's going to UW (hi doogie)
Im also hearing that scout still expects him to pick Stanford
And finally, im hearing that anyone who says they know where Foster is going is a liar -

Everything sucks

Don't worry Pepsi. My 2nd cousins aunts step brother who use to babysit Fosters cousins 3rd nephew removed a dog and they are 99% sure he is going to UW.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:Everything sucks

I play with him at gram kapuson he is Wazzu 100%. Silent commit there actually.
-
It's a 100% no at this point.
The plan B kid we just offered said Strausser watched him play a while back and liked him, but they were "waiting on 2 guys."
Now that he got offered it all but confirms the coaches moved on, and he was top of their plan B list. -
Fuck Strausser.
-
Didn't he mention that playing under 1 coach was important?
I don't know how you can call anything 100% until the shaw rumors die -
This charade is over Saturday, yes?

Yes, no way we'll continue to hear about him daily for next next four years.GrundleStiltzkin said:This charade is over Saturday, yes?

My prediction is still that he picks Stanford and gets a career ending injury his freshman year
-
He is not coming to UW. Move on.

Eklund hearing the same rumors doogie is. saying that the rumor is sarrell has told his inner circle he's to UW.
He claims Norgaard is unrelated and that it's sewards, another shitty plan C, that is the wait and see on.
He says they are still looking at Ford. so they must like Norgaard more than him. -
Strausser's paid a lot of money to develop players AND recruit. For three years he's been average at best at the former, and totally fucking worthless at the latter.
Entering his forth year, what kind of talent and depth do we have at guard and center? After three full seasons, he's done such a swell job of building depth, that we were forced to start a 270lb true freshman against Alabama.
Coleman Shelton is only stightly less mediocre than he was last season, and three years of Strausser's coaching has done positively fuck-all for Shane Brostek, Matt James, John Turner, & Jesse Sossebee.
At tackle, Adams and McGary both played well this year, and Strausser has to get some credit for that, but not coincidentally Adams & McGary were two of the few highly regarded lineman with good offer sheets that we've managed to land under Strausser's watch. What's the depth behind them though, Devin Burleson & Jared Hilbers?!
The one guy who was not super highly regarded out of high school but really improved this year was Jake Eldrenkamp. Kudos to Strausser there.
But looking at the OL roster as a whole is fucking depressing. There is a ton of dead weight, and noticeable lack of top-end talent. This doogish fucking notion that Strausser just needs to beat out Cal Poly for recruits then will shape them into all-conference types is fucking stupid.
Just like every other goddamned position, we need to combine top talent with really good coaching. Lake seems gets it done, so does Gregory, Kawasaki, Bonerpopper, & Bush... I'm not sure why Strausser gets a pass from several around here.
Over the last three classes we've signed only 6 offensive linemen... that's going to cause problems down the road, whether some want to admit it or not.
Holy fucking Tequila. Sorry, I'm done. -
Disagree. He can coach, he just can't recruit to save his life(job).guntlove said:Strausser's paid a lot of money to develop players AND recruit. For three years he's been average at best at the former, and totally fucking worthless at the latter.

I guess there's a posibility that
a guy like John Turner may have toldPetersen told Turner he's not returning and they now know they can take an extra OL.
Two guys were first team all conference this year. Another was second team. I have absolutely no idea what the fuck you're talking about.guntlove said:Strausser's paid a lot of money to develop players AND recruit. Average at development? Shelton was the 2 star that we all laughed at when sark signed at the last minute.guntlove said:Strausser's paid a lot of money to develop players AND recruit. For three years he's been average at best at the former, and totally fucking worthless at the latter.

He's now a very serviceable center who could be even better as a senior next year. Adams and McGary were very good but not can't miss. They are both studs. Adams may be a 1st round pick 2 April's from now.
Eldrenkamp was not highly recruited at all. Made him an all conference guy who will get drafted.
Harris, while not big enough yet to hold up against bama still had a great year for a true freshman.
Considering he can't recruit and inherited cozetto's mess, making that group into probably the best line in the pac isn't "average" -
Adams and McGary were can't miss guys, imo.dhdawg said:
