Rubio screwed himself when he tried to do the immigration deal with Shumer and Company...no clue what he was thinking. Not sure if he was listening too much to McCain or had really bad instincts, but it destroyed his chances this go around. I'm betting he will jump back onto the national stage only after immigration is dealt with one way or another.
Rand Paul is pretty good...friend of a friend married into the family...have some pretty funny stories on him. -
