I remember Papa Irving raving about the UW coaches in the Summer. Has this all been a ploy for USC attention?
It really is frustrating that these high end players don’t realize how low risk of a decision UW is. The worst case scenario is you go 9-4 under Pete.
They will get good coaching. The program is organized. The coaches care about the players and stay on them. The rules are consistent. Other schools are playing Victor and keeping Peters on the team. UW is a good school. Pete puts guys in the NFL. Fan base could be better, but is best in the PAC 12. Seattle is a real city.
I know that last paragraph is doogish, but it’s true. Kids are dumb and that’s fine, but parents and high school coaches should understand and consider some of this, especially the ones not getting money under the table. I can’t fault kids and their families for that. -
