Cornell is great, but the rest of the band is subpar to any other 90's grunge type band.

They used to be my favorite. Not anymore though. I still like them better than Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam and their fans are awful.

    My rankings

    AIC
    Nirvana
    Soundgarden

    Pearl Jam
Fuck all y'all for not including Heart (ILTC Bellevue "Seattle").

Especially Nancy, not chunky Ann though she was fairly doable back in the day.

A wild guess bit pretty sure Heart has sold more albums than anyone in the north west
Imma guess Quincy Jones is probably the leader in the clubhouse if you want to go down that path.

But Heart has to be far and away the best selling artist from the Northwest. Probably by double at least.

Though that fuck Macklemore rings the register in high quantity via the interwebs. He might catch them eventually.

You clearly underestimate Nirvana's worldwide appeal. They've sold 75 million albums. Heart's sold 35 mill.

Macklemore will never touch Heart's sales let alone Nirvana's.

Jerry Cantrell made the group. If they had the guy that filled in for him 5 years ago then.... They probably would have had the same success.

I'm talking records ALBUMS when people had to GAF and make an effort to buy and play music, not some weasly CD or download.

BTW, not sure I agree with this. Cameron and Thayill were both pretty badass.

He left before Superunknown. Blackhole Sun and Spoonman might be my two favorite grunge songs and he wasn't a part of them. Wish he would have still been around, like him better than Shepherd.
