In my lifetime, it has to be Milloy, Emtman, and Kikaha.

There was a serious 20 year gap without any decent defensive players. Larry Tripplet, Chorak, Shelton, and Peters are on the outside looking in.

Edit: Jeremiah Pharms was pretty scary too.

    He peed himself you know.

Enmpterman is the no brainer. Milloy is possible. Ron Holmes I would think is there. But really, anyone after around 92 would be tough since we didn't have a decent defense past then. But in a few years, Azeem could be on the list. If you don't count SR years, Walter Bailey would be in the conversation. If you do, then his nickname of Toast says it all.

No love for '91: Farr, Mason, Hoffman, Clifford, Hall, Smith, Palkoa - honorable mentions but right there with the players the faggot Millenials are spouting off about

This is a hard task to come up with just 3.

The no-brainers are Emptman and Holmes, but #3 could apply to about a dozen or more. Milloy, Parrish, Meamber, Farr, Brown, Hall, Pahukoa, Jerue, Pharms, Hoffman, Chorak, Jackson, Martin, Glasgow, Horton, Stewart, Newsome, Krakoski, Small, Kelly, Erlandson, D. Jones, Fields, Towns................and the list goes on, I just don't know any of the badasses from the years prior to the mid-70's.

    1. Emtman
    2. Holmes
    3. Redman or Milloy

Among Peterman-era players, the only one I'd even give a moment's consideration is Shelton.

My first team all UW defense.

    DL

Cedric White - 10 votes in Best of the West!
Talia Crichton - Best skater I've ever seen on a football field.
Mike Lustyk - If we could only have one premier defensive lineman in the 1988 recruiting class, this was the guy everyone wanted.
Donny Mataeaki - This motherfucker could take the shit out of a recruiting photo.

    LB
John Timu - Got his hands on more balls than Chip Kelly.
George Wilson - Best back on the field, nuff said on that.
Lester Towns - Pickup basketball Weightroom legend.

    DB's
Jerramy Stevens - Quite possibly the biggest DB ever to play for UW
Chris Massey - Always around the football. Dude just had a knack.
Jack Lockner - DJ still has wet dreams about Lockner roaming the defensive backfield.
Tripper Johnson - Did you know he played beisbol, too? What an athlete!

Don't forget about his MVP performance in the 2001 Holiday Bowl against Major Applewhite.
