if he has the career of Johnny football in college and you think he is the problem or he flamed out that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Quit digging the hole you're in.
Manziel was probably the most dominant college QB ever in terms of single handedly affecting a game. VY is a close secondL, but Manziel was a way better passer.
Manziel was way the fuck overrated.
Run around for 30 seconds then throw up a jumpball in triple coverage for Mike Evans does not equal dominant QB.
Medi.
Ocre.
If any Uw quarterback was 81% as good as manziel people would be creaming their sweatpants across the nw for decades. I still see people on this bored from time to time defending jack lockner. Manziel was a hype machine. He was also good. a lot of the games he lost were shootouts. Lots of teams have good wrs but don't get the results that he did.

Good I can get behind. Dominant, no sir. Heisman winner was a joke.
There's plenty of room for him to be overrated and still a massive upgrade over our last 15 years of dreck.
Definitely not the best I've seen. But tenow was an awesome college qb and gave shuffle passes to Percy Harvin. Marriotta was good but his scheme has wide open streakers iltctt all damn day.
Having good wrs is nothing new for good qbs in college.
Luck is way better than both of them but he is a once in a generation type.

I'm not just saying he had a good receiver, I'm saying he got away with a crazy ass jump ball at least once a game just because he had Mike Evans. There's maybe three receivers in CFB history with the height, leaping ability, hands and strength to bail him out like Evans did, Moss, Megatron and I dont even know the third.
Yes, Mariota wasn't terrible. He wasn't Heisman worthy either, IMO.
Johnny Manziel is a likely bust in the NFL. He was fucking great in college though. Confirmation bias at it's finest. Lol that he didn't deserve the Heisman. The other finalists were Manti Teo and Colin Klein (K State).
Look at his freshman year stats then factor in that he beat Alabama and his team was 11-2. They lost two games by 8 total points. There was nothing overrated about him.
His sophomore year was a little worse, but he played for the black Sark and A&M had one of the worst defenses in the country.
If we're talking overrated Heisman winners, it's Jameis Winston, not Manziel.

I hate all of you.
Never bring him up again.
Ever.

That Bama RB a few years ago was the weakest winner in some time.
