They might be, but it won't matter. USC will lose at least 3 games next year, but they are going to plunger UW.
That six people have already up voted this depresses me. I am a roaddawg fan, but fuck your dismissive pessimism dude.
Sounds like you want to take the gloves off and that you're glad you're not like him.
Nah he's one of the best posters here but given the depth issues SC has, who their fucktarded coach is, and how we highly we view Petersen (and being in his 2nd year with his system)...I can't in good faith just anecdotally say they're going to crush us. In fact I'd say some of the intangibles would favor us.
This. If you're looking at their roster - I'd say they are worse at: RB, WR, TE, DL, LB than they were last year. They are going to have several freshmen in the front seven. Fucktards, like Sugarshittube, point to Kessler like he is fucking Mariota, but he was good at piling up stats vs shit teams and was really average vs the rest.

I think UW will keep it competitive.
USC will be a preseason top 10 team. UW is getting picked 8-10th in the Pac 12. I know preseason rankings can be FS, but let's be real. UW has way more question marks than USC. USC has a good QB. USC has returning starters on the OL. USC has more playmakers on offense. Kessler is probably overrated, but he's still one of the better QB's in the conference and miles (pun intended) better than any UW QB. And while I am more optimistic about UW's defense, they are replacing a lot of guys on that side of the ball.
The only way USC loses is if they don't show up. And with a Thursday Night home game, with some added motivation for Sark, they will show up. They are way better and while Sark is a bad coach, @Doogles had it right. He gets plungered in road games. And he will again next year.

Fair assessment. I don't think they will end up better than last year. So that's an 8-4 type team. I would think UW will be around a TD underdog. Unless UW is an absolute dumpster fire, I don't think it'll be a plungering. Talent is a problem but coaching, especially with an extra 5 days prep, will narrow that gap.
Last year's thursday night home game SC didn't manage to put away Cal. Cal almost made a big comeback even though SC brought out the shiny helmets and a new velvet curtain for the Coliseum tunnel. I see a similar type game happening, where SC very likely wins but UW hangs within 7-10 pts the entire game.

Shaking head in disbelief. At least Tomas isnt trying to be funny
The game is a Thursday night game, meaning a BYE before and a lot of ESPN hype and probably a big recruiting weekend for USC.
Petersen will have his team mentally prepared. Sark won't.
That should be the difference in the game.
Difference between what? 21-28 points? Game will be out of reach in 1st quarter. Nothing to do with Peetamus as a coach,or UW as a program, just way less talented (starting 22), much less experience and its on the road. Open your fucking eyes.
Give me one area UW will be better than SC besides kicking ? ONE besides "head" coaching? Listen, it will get very ugly, very quickly.
Roadie, maybe Fire Marshall (the only 2 guys with any football sense here) might be objective enough to see the reality, on a that soon-to-be frightful night in Cali .

SC didn't beat any Pac12 team by more than 28 points last year, you fucktard. They beat the coogs by 27 and Colorado by 28.
Stop dreaming of getting Eiffel Tower'd by Sark and Cody McDreamy and think logically for once in your miserable life.
Listen Peter Beaters, I've been on the Peterman train since the beggining. But Sark has too much talent on his roster. Give Petey a few more years and him and Sark will be fighting for the Pac yearly. Oh and Freeme, J, Boobie, stick to ice skating because football is for the real men like me and the Fire Marshal, okay boys? ; ))))
