Reason number 7,810 why the SEC SEC SEC is still better than the Pac-12:
The only head coaches behind him? Washington State’s Mike Leach, Cal’s Sonny Dykes and Colorado’s Mike MacIntyre, who together have combined to win just 28 percent of their games since joining the conference.
Topping the list by Athlon’s Steven Lassan is Todd Graham of ASU, followed by Rich Rodriguez of Arizona. Conference newcomer Gary Andersen at Oregon State is ranked sixth. -
List is shit
Case in point: #1, #2
Also #3-12 -

I'll bet Arizona would have beaten the Hoosiers in Tucson.TierbsHsotBoobs said:Reason number 7,810 why the SEC SEC SEC is still better than the Pac-12:

They couldn't even beat Boise State in Glendale. Shit, they barely beat Nevada in Tucson.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:

Just for fun, let's call the Pac-12 South and SEC East a push. Want to compare the Pac-12 North with the SEC West? -
I was too kind. I used to make the point he was the 6th or 7th best coach on Doogman in 2012 and 2013, and that WASHINGTON doesn't need to settle for that (damnit). Lame Kitten was still around then though. Maybe Erickson too.

9th seems about right for Sark. The rest of the list is kind of questionable. Mora is flawed, but he's better than 8th. I have a hard time with Rich Rod being #2 and Mora 8. Mora could be better, and if he's not, the gap is very small. It's hard to rank these coaches. Either they have not been coaching for long or haven't accomplished anything in the Pac 12.

This. The most accomplished coach in the conference is David Shaw and he sucks.RoadDawg55 said:9th seems about right for Sark. The rest of the list is kind of questionable. Lists like this are always HFS but give us something to argue about.

Fuck it, I'll Doog.
1. Pete - Seriously wouldn't trade him for any coach in the conference. The wins need to follow, but his process is the real deal. Factor in his unique perspective on coaching that most likely keeps him from selling the couch after success like Graham, and you have a legitimate program (dare I say dynasty?) builder.
2. Shaw - His smug conservative attitude murders him in the red zone, but Harbaugh has been gone long enough now and I still see the physical characteristics and line play from those teams. I'd trust Shaws Stanford to go south and beat a quality sec team before any of the std ridden zona schools.
3. Dick Rod - I take him over Graham because he's taken his traveler's lumps and provides more traction for a program. He Almost murdered Tuitama in the Fiesta bowl, but he's a damn good coach and perfect for zona.
4. Graham - will be in another conference soon enough, but consistently produces.
5. Mora - Sloppy as fuck, but experienced and wins. Could easily jump to the top of the list if he takes UCLA to the next level. Could easily plummet if he keeps UCLA at underachieving UCLA level.
6. Slingblade - I know the Coker effect is all the rage, but I think what happened in the Natty is an Oregon problem. Popped off against the defending national champs. I don't think he is chip, but I doubt the program craters.
7. Whittingham - The transition has been rough, but a lot of that has to do with getting the mid major label off the program as much as anything. His teams play physical football. To bad he isn't a QB guru.
8. Dikes - Cal was easily the most improved team after the dumpster fire of a first year. I expect them to continue to improve since they actually have a QB. He's going to be for Cal what the coogs wanted from leach.
9. Sark - Like his dick, below average. If he gets a lot of Viagra in there he might gain a few, but most likely will fall limp.
10. The guy who yells on Colorado's sideline - I don't know much about him besides he made san Jose state good which is hard to do. Has the most room to grow because he took over a complete shit show.
11. OSU coach - Not Mike Reilly. Needs to prove he can do more with less then pop off.
12. LOL Coogs - seriously don't think it matters who coaches here. The worst institution, in the worst location, with the worst tradition...simply the worst everything. How did Price do it? Oh yeah, hookers and blow.
