Reminds me of UW basketball where Romar was "in" on Jabari Parker, going to land Bird and Gordon. I still remember, and those fucks will never own up to this, 3 years ago, a caller called in early in the recruiting season and said, what are the chances UW gets Banner, Garnett, or Walker Williams. Without a pause, Kim and Eklund both said "100%. There is no way that UW misses out on all 3. There's a 50% chance they get all 3 but there's no way that not one of those guys will be wearing purple and gold". Of course, the script has been changed since then. Now, Williams never really had a scholarship offer, even though he did. Garnett was "never coming to Washington and everyone knew this" and Banner wanted to get out of the state and nothing could change his mind. It doesn''t matter anyways because Nathan Dean has more upside than any of them. Also, the "prize of the class", Jake Eldrenkamp was offered at the last minute after the 3 big ones fell through. Scott was actually right about this as he had been saying all year that Eldrenkamp would not receive a UW offer because he wasn't good enough. He did end up choosing UW over WSU and Eklund now cites Eldrenkamp as a "big time O-Line recruit" who Sark had to really fight for.
Even with that huge fuck up, it was nowhere close to how bad he fucked the dog last year with Jack,Falah, Mattingly, The idiot OSU kid, etc.
I don;t havea problem with him being wrong, I have a problem with his unprofessionalism.
"Hey Scott, I saw that Nico Falah said that he is solid to USC and not considering other schools".
"He may be saying that but he's lying. He's all about Washington. He's just trying to play the media."
"Hey Scott, he stuck with USC like he said he would. Where were you on that one?"
"Hey, you guys need to cool it with this gotcha game. You never make comments when I'm right, only when I'm wrong. We didn't want him anyways. Really immature kid."
Then Kim comes in and warns people about picking on the staff. -

Boy, some of you guys really harp on the negativity and things we may have said a few years ago. Are we right 100 percent of the time? No. Do we miss on a few? Sure, but you guys always remind us when we're wrong and never give us credit for being right. :-q
There have been more rude comments in the past week or so, and some were directed towards staff. It's never okay to be a jerk out there. We're going to put some of you on the sidelines for a few days next week if this continues. -
