Transitivity Stupidity - "Just beat the team that dominated you at home."
Pure Stupidity - "Aaron Rodgers is better on one leg than Wilson is on two."
Don't get me wrong. I think Rodgers is a damn good QB. But, I like how fans around the leauge still underestimate Wilson (he's just a game manager, etc.).

He really can't seem to shake the label. Until he wins another SB he won't get much respect. Even then he'll probably be viewed like Eli Manning, even though Eli is way more turnover prone.

The dipshit argument is that Wilson has had success only because of the defense. He's never going to put up Dan Marino type numbers, but he's going to do the little things it takes to win games. Sure, the defense has bee fantastic, but Wilson keeps the offense moving and does enough to win games.
Some people are fucktarded. At least the analysts (with the exception of a handful) are drinking the Wilson Kool-Aid, FWIW.
I do find it funny when he says wilson isn't even a top 10 QB. give me 10 you'd take over him. reg season manning, brady, luck, rodgers, no one immediately comes to mind after that. maybe Ryan? Rivers?

At this point in time, Wilson is right where he belongs. He is in good company with Brady, Rodgers, and Luck. Stick a fork in Manning, he's done. Matt Ryan can be good, but he doesn't have a good supporting cast around him. Rivers, while incredibly talented, doesn't seem to have what it takes to carry the team to the next level.

There's no way you can find 10 QB's better than Wilson.
Your top 4 are the only obvious options. No way I'd take Ryan or Rivers over him. I think you could actually make a good argument for Romo who's been chronically underrated IMO. Playing all those years for Jerry Jones FS has destroyed his national rep, but dude's really good. I'd rather have Wilson for Seattle though.
After Seattle wins three or four championships I'd like to see them acquire a legitimate top 2 or 3 WR in the league like NE did with Moss just to see what Wilson could do with that type of weapon. But as long as the defense and running game is as strong as it is I'd rather just keep winning titles.
I really think Luck-Wilson is setting up as the next Manning-Brady with Luck having the numbers and all the press but Wilson the postseason success.
I'd take Brady, Rodgers, P. Manning, and probably Rapelisberger over RW but that's it, and Peyton is fading fast and RW is closing in on Rapelisberger's level.
If he had a horrific knee, hip, or general leg injury and lost his speed, then he's probably behind the Romo/Rivers/Ryan class.
No way you take Manning over Wilson, unless you want to lose in the playoffs every year. Before the Patriots game you could make an argument for Flacco over Wilson but Flacco royally fucked up that game. Agree about Big Ben, the gap is closing there. Rodgers, Romo, Brady are better right now but are also older. I would probably take Luck too, his coaching staff seems retarded and I think Carroll would coach the turnovers out of him.

Manning is done. He was horrific today. His postseason woes are only magnified by his decreasing physicality. He simply could not push the ball down the field.
I noticed how he kept overthrowing his receivers during that stretch of 6 incomplete passes where Denver kept trying to go deep. This is because he no longer has the arm to afford touch on his deep ball. He is overthrowing because anything less than 100% and it won't get home or float for an easy pick.
That was the moment I knew he was done. Psychologically this game finished him. Wilson is better today and forever more moving forward.
