Your favorite Husky Pick 6?

Mine was the Damon Huard masterpiece against the Ducks.

I assumed that was the bait
The ASU one is my serious choice. Yuge

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell had a 5-yard pick 6 vs Utah in 1979. I can still see it in my mind's eye in the west end zone.
-
Can’t believe nobody’s mentioned Mason Foster’s shoe-in pick 6 off of Nick “the Dick” Foles.

damn you and your 3 seconds…

Good call

I was there!!

wouldn’t it easily be the pick 6 to seal the win vs Michigan in 2001?

Hmmmm….

here comes the mouth breathers picking the low hanging fruit

The late Marquis Cooper. This is the play where I was standing in the back of the end zone and Lambright was to my immediate left. I bear-hugged him and he turned and gave me a death stare while I was in full embrace.

Last year's UCLA game

Im ready for Tony to leave, I'm sorry. I know Washington will just replace him with another transplant just like him but still.
"Nix just got sacked by a couple a purple wearin' daWgs!!!!!" forever shredding my 🧠

Huh? UW went 8-4 in 2001, so not sure what you mean by "easily." It was a great play vs a good opponent, and Lowe almost single handedly won that game, but a mediocre season nonetheless.
Considering what was on the line, this one's a no-brainer. Things were looking bleak: 4th quarter, offense was non-existent, our nemesis was threatening to upset us yet again, and then… Meesh Powell's pick 6 sends Husky Stadium into pandemonium not seen since the 90's, and keeps our NC run alive. Chills. -
When I think of that game I always remember Roc Alexander housing the blocked field goal, not Lowe's pick 6. It's funny because Lowe blocked the field goal too. All Alexander had to do was grab it and go.

i mainly remember the Lowe pick 6 as being one of the loudest crowd pods I’ve ever heard on tv
-
Russel Hairston vs Miami was cool.

Charles Mincy in the Rose Bowl?

I prefer this one:

It's weird with 2001 Michigan that the blocked FG return TD sticks way more in my memory compared to the pick 6 to take the lead. I think it's largely due to it being such an easy pick 6 - off the WR's hands, right to Lowe and only 20 yards to reach the end zone.
-
your only quality contribution, ever.

Thanks Taft!
This should be a pole. I have fond memories of the Murphy pick because that game sent us? to the Rose Bowl. When the game ended, I jumped up off the couch and yelled “we’re going to the fucking Rose Bowl!”
I also jumped off the couch screaming “winners fucking win” when Powell returned his pick.

You haven't jumped off a couch since Gil Dobie

I have one of those chair assist things and it was set to James Bond ejector seat power.

It lost some luster because the team ended up going 8-4 but it was massive at the time and I try to remember and context college football stuff in the moment more than other sports. Top 15 matchup with UW coming off the Rose Bowl. First game against Michigan since the 90s Rose Bowls and first time in Husky Stadium 15+ years. Basically sealed off a win over Michigan, which is always big. Shit just felt bigger back then too. It was wild too because that game felt over right before when Michigan was gonna kick a FG. They were running all over UW and the UW offense couldn't do shit.
Bigger picture it's Powell against ASU. Will be interesting to see how he approaches the program in the future given he dashed to Miami and Crisco for his final year.
