I repeat, Washington played mediocre, Penix was off, crowd was 80-20 in favor of Texas in Texas, Ewers had his career high passing (until yesterday), and we still won.

My memory was that Dropped Pass played a massive role in that game. Huskies still looked the better team, but Texas wasn't their sharpest. Texas also had their best player on both sides of the ball sit out.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

I think this Texas team is better than the one that played in the Alamo. This Washington team is a LOT better than the one that played in the Alamo. Sark can sometimes weirdly get his shit together for a big game (see Alabama this year, Boise State in the '13 opener, etc.). He can also weirdly shit the bed in prep and embarrass himself. He's really a random number generator.
I like Washington in this one. Still pissed that back-your-way-in Texas essentially gets homefield advantage. -
