Michigan - neighbor back in Chicagos dad has 6 season tickets. Need to see if we’re still Facebook friends.
Michigan st - Mrs Nacho’s sorority sisters kids went there.
Ohio St - cousins in Columbus and their kid is an alum. A place to crash.
Pedo St - Army buddy spent a chunk of his childhood there, his mom worked there and his brother was a Special Teams player on the 86? Fiesta Bowl team.
Purdue - former coworkers ex-husband went there which helps confirm my theory that it’s a weirdo school. It’s also halfway between Chicago and Indy.
Indiana - it’s close to Kentucky. That’s all I got.
Illinois - my dead FIL went there. He saw Butkus play in college.
Rutgers - I have cousins in Jersey that I like.
Maryland - Mrs Nacho has cousins somewhere in that state and @swaye lives in Virginia which is also close. I also know 2 guysm on this board who share a wife who’s an alum.
Iowa - I’m following an Iowa fan on Twitter now. I think it’s also considered the ASU of the B1G.
Wisconsin - my close personal friend @PurpleBaze is an alum and I know a few people in the state. It’s also home to a strip club called Cruisin’ Chubby’s and if you can’t see why that name appeals to me, I can’t help you. I also got onto the field during an offseason.
Minnesota - I have 2 good friends up who are sports junkies but they don’t a shit about the Gophers.
Northwestern - I had lunch in Evanston once.
Nebraska - my old boss was a huge fan. I walked into their stadium and onto the field back in 2017. I was in 1 corner of an end zone and the B1G network was doing interviews in the other corner.
Michigan - I feel like we've got a lot in common Wisconsin - obviously Maryland - wife is an alum and it is so fucking absurd we're in a conference together
As a kid I was a Maryland basketball fan. Growing up there was a period of time where I almost wanted to go to school there over Washington.
Of the B1G trips going to Maryland is probably one that is for sure happening for me.
Going to eat some 🦀 and hopefully the Ravens have a home game at the same time.
College park is a shithole. Was actually shocked how gross it was first time I went there. Outside of Rutgers, has to be the worst campus location in the conference
Despite Maryland being the closest major college to Northern VA very few kids want to go there. Way more end up at U of South Carolina or Penn State.
Best friend growing up is Michigan Man. Better rivalry between Michigan UW than half the Pac12. Was hoping for a ny6/rose Bowel reunion in our lifetime but this will do.
Comments
2. THE OSU
3. Michigan
4. Whisky
5. Iowa
6. Nebraska
The alternative was going to be forming new rivalries with SDSU and SMU, along with having to play Utah.
