I've seen #s 14, 6, and 3. I haven't heard of most of them. I can't remember how I stumbled into Let the Right One In.

It's the problem with a lot of lists like this across movies, music, TV, is they skew hard to critical darlings that no one actually likes. This actually isn't that bad. I've seen about 75% and am somewhat familiar with all but a few.

Just thinking more about this list makes me want to go rewatch Hereditary right now. The way that the treehouse is its own character/mouth of hell just never gets old with the way he shot everything.

That's the level that these horror directors that make Talk To Me think they're on, which is what bothers me.

In Talk To Me the most shocking moments with the younger brother don't even compare to an entire rewatch of Hereditary where you see how the cult leader in Utah was just slowly but surely setting the family up.

Go watch Prisoners and then watch Jake Gyllenhaal and Wolverine in all their other films. It's on another level, those guys were on a level that they won't get back to the rest of their careers. The scene at the end with him in the house blows away the end scene in Silence of the Lambs. For me.

It's also worth noting that anything with her in it is guaranteed to be pretty good. Longlegs, It Follows, and Watcher were all really good. This isn't like shoving Sidney Sweeney into Immaculate so that you could see a nude scene with her even though she isn't really right for the role, this chick is made for A24 horror movies.

I didn't know where to put movies like Heretic, but they are worth watching.

Nobody talks about Cuckoo but it is the true spiritual successor to Twin Peaks. Alan Wake II and that movie are the only things to truly capture what he did in the early 90's.

I don’t watch horror flicks but I appreciate @haie’s passion for the genre.

Original Mission Impossible movie. Saw it in the theater when it came out. I think it’s other only MI I’ve seen but I plan to finish them out.

My kids have never seen any MI movies, so we're working our way through all of them. I had forgotten how terrible MI:II is. The motorcycle scene at the end was so bad as to be comedy gold.
