Timothy Treadwell vibes.
-
Oblivion. Tom Cruise Sci-Fi flick. Entertaining.
-
Anything with Olga Kurylenko is good
-
Magic City - prime nude scenes.
-
Half Baked. The opening scene where the 4 friends smoke a joint for the first time is incredible.
-
New Jurassic World. It's basically Jurassic Park 3 (which sucks) but with less annoying characters. A big part of the movie is a dad who takes his kids sailing across the Atlantic in a world where dinosaurs exist in hot places. I shit you not. Entertaining enough movie but a bungled franchise that should be sci-fi horror like the book and first movie that instead makes kids movies.

Becoming Led Zeppelin.
decent documentary. Found the musical parts to be a little long. I have a greater appreciation for LZ. In the early 80’s I had some serious LZ fatigue. Black Dog was all fucked out just like Bohemian Rhapsody became all fucked out. -
If you're interested enough and need something to read, Hammer Of the Gods is an interesting documentary. It's a pretty dirty unflattering portrayal.
The best character in their whole band and crew was roadie/bodyguard Richard Cole. His description of the Seattle waterfront hotel fishing incident alone is worth buying the book.

I enjoyed Becoming LZ. Really made me appreciate 1 and 2 a lot more. I agree with EK that LZ suffered from listener burnout and fatigue more that the Beatles and almost any other band. There just wasn't a lot of music like LZ in 1969
It was also interesting to see all the hits Page played on as a session guy. I know our autistic contingent has it memorized but I had forgotten a lot of it
He was already rich when they formed the band.
Most of our heroes are bad people. Quite common really. But their actions remain. You could say that the song remains the same

Overboard, 1987 version. Goldie gave birth to her son Wyatt in July of 86 and this was released in December of 87 and she was in peak physical condition.
There’s some FREE PUB for the Beavers in the mini golf grand opening scene.
Goldie turns 80 in November.
