There aren't any good options left, so you take the least awful one. I guess. The only other option would be some merger with what's left of the Big 12.
Some 9 a.m. game against Minnesota or Rutgers will be super lame.
Adapt or die. They will steal the good players and coaches if you’re not in their league. The revenue discrepancy will kill the pac. Staying in the pac would be the most Jen thing ever. Think bigger.
We don't know what the per school figure is for the Pac 12 at this time.
The B1G is Ohio State, Michigan, sometimes PSU - and a then a bunch of programs UW is FAR better than.
It's a boring fucking conference.
Lol. We are not in the same stratosphere for revenue as them. Perhaps you haven’t heard usc and ucla already saw the writing on the wall. I heard they may even be looking to join the big 10 themselves.
I'd rather take less money than play a bunch of conference games against shit teams in the middle of nowhere

Aren’t Cincy and BYU going to the B12? I mean last year, one made the playoff and the other won the PAC 12. I don’t think they are interested in spreading the wealth to Cal, WSU and OSU.
The playoffs were expanded so multiple power programs from the SEC and B1G can get there
Being in the Mountain West Pac isn't going to do shit for UW
Loser talk PGOS
2, maybe 3, teams will get in from the B1G or SEC
UW this year damn near almost got into an expansion scenario as a #2/#3
But go ahead and ignore my other points. There are too many cooks in the B1G and SEC kitchen. And that assumes some second tier teams dont make runs like a Wisconsin or a Auburn
Cobble together a "Bi-Coastal Conference" with 6 teams from the PAC (UW, WSU, UO, OSU, Stan, Cal) and 6 from the ACC (their top 6 or at least 4 top teams)
It would be a power conference with a true East - West divisions structure. I don't really feel a rivalry with Utah, Colorado, Arizonas... so with them out and Florida St etc, in, much more interesting
Why does it rely on the fans waking up at 8 am and watching UW play Maryland for UW Football to be profitable enough to win?? Why don't we sell ad space on the helmets like the NHL while we're at it.
Embarrassing to see seasoned college fans quickly ready to drop their pants and bend over for a few dollars of B10 money while everything they actually enjoy about the sport is being ripped away.
Our role is to support the team and enjoy the product. It's Jens job to make money.
I also completely agree that leaving a power conference that has easy access to the playoff is counterintuitive to winning it all. See TCU this year.

Fun fact, it might actually be easier to do that in a Pac 10 versus a B1G 36 nfl special Ed league
What do you guys think is going to happen when you have a bunch of big time delusional programs all scraping for wins in the same conference?
Some programs are going to get the short straws (likely the newcomers USC, Texas, Oklahoma)
I dont think this awkward marriage will last very long. Just like how money doesn't save marriages

USC?
The conferences will dissolve
It would be in the best of hands
We shouldve taken the gloves off and hired Matt Campbell
Dip shit wouldn't know sports if it fucked his blowup doll.
